Established in 1933, Institute of chemical technology (previously University Department of Chemical Technology) is a reputed chemical technology institute of chemical engineering in India. The college has been puts focus on imparting training and research in various disciplines of chemical technology, chemical engineering, and pharmacy. In 2008, the college was granted a deemed university status. Located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, ICT offers various undergraduate and postgraduate specialization programmes s in chemical technology. Due to its quality education, Institute of Chemical Technology is recognized as best institute for chemical technology in the world.

Campus

The campus is sprawled over 16 acres land and has a beautiful architecture with lush green surroundings and calm environment. The campus has separate three hostels for boys, two girl’s hostels, and faculty and staff rooms located behind the main building. It has main building facing Nathalal Parikh Marg, well equipped and high tech labs, libraries and very skilled faculty members. The rear boundary of the ICT runs along Kidwai Road.
