About Government Engineering College, Bilaspur
Established in the year 1964, Government Engineering College, Bilaspur is a complete government aided and co-ed institution. The college was started as a technical institution for imparting the engineering education among students. The college is approved by the AICTE and affiliated to the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University and government of Chhattisgarh.
Campus
This campus of institute is situated on Korba road amidst the calm, lush green and natural area of Koni village covering an area of 179 acres of land. It is sited on state highway-2 in the outer side of the Bilaspur city. The location is easily accessible by the road and rail. The campus has convenient connectivity with city.
