About Government Engineering College, Bastar
Established in 1983, Government Engineering College Bastar is a well known engineering institute located in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. Initially, the institute was affiliated to the Pandit Ravishankar Shukla Raipur University but later it was approved as the autonomous institution approved by the government of Chhattisgarh and AICTE.
Campus
The campus of the government engineering college is sprawled over 69 acres of land in Jagdalpur, Bastar. The campus is located in the urban area of the city and located between Negigudha, Gatpadmur, Dharampura and Kalipur. The government engineering college Bastar has good state of art infrastructure comprising all major facilities. The college is sited on Chitrakote Road and main entrance is open in front of the Bastar University. The location of this college is well-connected by the road.
Courses
The college offers six undergraduate and two post graduation courses in the field of engineering and technology. All the offered courses are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
