About Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology
Established in 1941, The Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology (GCECT) previously known as College of Ceramic Technology (CCT), is a foremost government funded autonomous institute. The college is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology in Kolkata, India and has been recognized to NAAC Grade ‘A’. GCECT appears one of the best engineering colleges in the state which have recently completed 74 years from inception.
Campus
The campus of GCECT has excellent infrastructure comprising main building, academic building, old building and annex building where various rooms, laboratories, a big hall, library, placement cell are placed. The campus of GCECT is sited on in Beliaghata city. The college campus is easily accessible via roads in Kolkata.
