About GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam

Established in 1997, GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT) is a well known engineering college in India. It is a self financing and private instate located in the Rajam, Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. The GMR Institute of Technology is an autonomous institution and associated to the JNTU Kakinada & SBTE&T Hyderabad for diploma programmes. The institute is approved by the Ministry of HRD and AICTE. It is recognized by NAAC, Bangalore.

Campus

The campus of GMRIT is located on the GMR Nagar in Town Rajam in the district of Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. It is about 18 km away from the Chipurpalley railway station and approx 100 km from the Visakhapatnam City. The campus is sprawled over in 113 acres of land.

Courses

GMRIT provides a four-year Bachelor in Technology (B Tech) degree course in various disciplines and 2 year M.Tech course in seven disciplines.
