Eligibility criteria
For B.Sc Nursing:
- Only unmarried female candidates can apply for the exam.
- Aspirants should have done 12th as the qualifying examination.
- Candidates have to pass the qualifying exam with Chemistry, Physics, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English subjects with no less 45% marks.
For M.Sc Nursing:
- Candidate should have done B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from recognized institution with no less 55% aggregate marks.
- Applicants should be registered with State Registration Council of Nursing and midwifery.
- Candidates must produce the medical fitness certificate from medical officer
For Diploma in Nursing
- Only unmarried candidates (both) can apply.
- Applicant should have done 10+2 or equivalent qualification with science discipline with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English subjects.
- They must pass the qualifying exam with no less than 40% marks taken together in all subjects.
- The age of the candidate should be in 17 years – 35 years.
CMC Vellore Nursing Application Form 2021: How to apply?
Before filling the application form candidates are advised to read the important instructions mentioned in brochure carefully.
- Candidates can obtain the CMC Vellore Nursing 2021 application form only through online mode.
- The authority might release the application form in February 2021.
- Fill all the mandatory fields carefully.
- Candidates should submit the supporting documents along with the application form.
- Upload the recent passport size photograph and signature in the given fields as per prescribed specifications.
- Candidates should take a printout of the completed application form for future use.
Payment of application fee
- Candidates should pay Rs. 800/- as administrative fee plus a registration fee per course.
- For Group A courses (B.Sc Nursing): The application fee is Rs. 500/- per course.
- For Group B (Diploma in Nursing): Candidates should pay Rs. 100/-, while for M.Sc in Nursing application fee is Rs. 500/-
Payment mode:
Candidates can make the payment of application fee through Demand Draft drawn in Favour of “C.M.C. Vellore Association a/c” on any scheduled bank, payable in Vellore.
Write your application number and name on the back side of the DD and send it to the college address before due date. Payment of fee can also be done through Challan of ICICI bank and credit/debit card.

Admit card/hall ticket
Applicants can download the CMC Vellore Nursing 2021 Admit Card from the official website before 15 days of the starting of the written test. The admit card will be common for both groups i.e. Group-A and Group-B. Candidates should bring the hall ticket of CMC Vellore Nursing exam while appearing in the exam center.
Result
The authority will publish the result of the shortlisted candidates for step-2 on the notice boards of the college and on its official website. Those who shortlisted for step-2 will be informed through e-mail or via speed post. The step 2 will organize in the first week of June and final result of the nursing admission will be announced in June 2018 tentatively.
Admission process
Candidates who qualified in the step-1 (written test) successfully will be further invited for step-2 (special test & interview). The college will organize the Special test for testing the candidate’s character and aptitude skills while step 2 includes the interview process.
Candidates have to produce the required original documents for verification during registration for step-2. Final admission will be made on the basis of candidate’s combined performance in step-1 and step-2.
