CLAT Syllabus 2024

CLAT Syllabus 2024: CLAT syllabus will give you an overall idea regarding what to study for the exam and which are most important parts through which you can score well in the exam. CLAT (OR) Common Law Admission Test, conducted by National Law School of India University Bangalore, is a mandatory exam for admission to the leading Law institutes Of India like Nalsar University of Law  (Hyderabad), The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (Kolkata), National Law Institute University (Bhopal), Gujarat National Law University (Gandhinagar), and National University of Study and Research in Law (Ranchi).

CLAT Syllabus 2024

The syllabus pattern of CLAT is divided into five sections:

English including comprehension

In this section, you should focus on English Grammar rules and comprehension. In the comprehension section, questions will be asked based on your understanding of a passage including its central theme and word meanings. Some other questions may be asked related to correction of incorrect sentences and fill in the blanks with right words.

GK and Current Affairs

Your general awareness will be examined in this section. There will be some questions on recent or ongoing affairs. We suggest you to read different magazines, watch news channels to get comfortable with current affairs.

Mathematics (Numerical Ability)

Well, this is the most known section where numerical ability type questions are to be asked of class 10th standard.

Legal Aptitude

The key aim of this section is analyzing your depth & interest towards study of law, problem-solving ability and research aptitude. Questions will be usually based on legal propositions and set of verities satisfying the propositions.

Logical reasoning

This section is designed to analyze your aptitude to find logical links, patterns and identify illogical arguments. Most of the questions asked in this section from logical sequences, syllogism, analogies, etc.
