The following eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled by the candidates if they wish to be considered for Chandigarh ITI admission 2023:

Age limit:

• Candidates applying for admission should attain the age of 14 years as on 1st August 2023.

Physical fitness:

• Candidate should be physically fit for the work involved in the trade for which they are to be trained.

Moral character:

Academic qualification:

For engineering trades:

• For 1-year General Carpenter, Mechanic Auto Body Repair, Mechanic Auto Body Painting, Welder and Plumber: The candidates who have passed their class 10th exam will be eligible for admission to these trades.
• For 1-year Mechanic Diesel Engine: Applicants should have cleared their class 10th exam with Science and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in order to be eligible.
• For 2-year Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Draughtsman Civil and Electronic Mechanic: Those who have cleared the class 10th exam can apply for these trades.
• For 2-year Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Tool & Die Maker, Draughtsman Mechanical, Information & Communication Technology, System Maintenance and Machinist Grinder: A pass in class 10th exam with Science and Mathematics as mandatory subjects is required for admission.

For non-engineering trades:

• For 1-year Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (Hindi), Stenography Punjabi, Basic Cosmetology, Dress Making, Human Resources Executive, Finance Executive, Marketing Executive, Sewing Technology and Surface Ornamentation Techniques (Embroidery): Those who have cleared their class 10th exam can apply for these trades.

Chandigarh ITI Admission application form 2023 has been released in online mode on the official website https://chdtechnicaleducation.gov.in/. Those who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can proceed with the submission of their application form.

• At first, the candidates need to fill a registration form providing their name, email id and mobile number.
• The registered mobile number entered will be the login id and password will be sent to this number through SMS.
• Next step will be the payment of the application fee. After successful payment, the candidates can login to fill the application form.
