CENTAC PG 2021: Important Dates, Application Procedure, Eligibility Criteria

Centralized Admission Committee – Post Graduate 2021 (CENTAC PG 2021) is a university level entrance exam that offers admission to various PG programmes such as M.Tech, M.Phil, M.Sc., MBA, and MCA.

This exam is conducted to grant admission to Pondicherry Engineering College and “government quota seats” of private professional institutes, including the minority colleges in the union territory of Pondicherry. In this article, we will discuss complete details of CENTAC PG 2021 to be held in 4^th week of July 2021 tentatively.

CENTAC PG 2021 Application Procedure

Follow the below mentioned steps in order to apply for CENTAC PG 2021.

1. First of all, candidates need to sign up on the official website using an email id.
2. After signing up, candidates will be allowed to log in using their user id and password.
3. Fill in all the mandatory details like marks in SSC/ Matriculation exam and subject wise scores in the qualification exam etc.
4. Declaration also needs to be submitted by applicants and parent/Guardian.
5. Download the duly filled application form and attach it with the following documents and send it to the convener
   1. Printout of the online application form.
   2. Age Proof.
   3. Residence Proof.
   4. Proof of Nationality.
   5. SSLC Mark sheet.
   6. HSC Mark sheet.
   7. Category certificate ( if applicable)
   8. Two self-address stamp sized envelope.
   9. DD of a prescribed amount of Rs. 500/- to Rs 1000/- depending on course and category.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for CENTAC PG 2021 are as follows:

1. A candidate must have an AICTE approved Bachelor’s degree in respective discipline.
2. At least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA is required.
3. Only Indian candidates are eligible. However, French candidates residing in Pondicherry and covered by the Treaty of Cession are also eligible for the admission.
4. There is no age limit for the admission.

CENTAC PG Admit card 2021

Admit card will be dispatched by post to candidates about a week prior to the exam. Candidates are advised to contact CENTAC PG inquiry office or write them to get a duplicate admit card in case they do not receive it through the post. Registration no, venue, exam date and time will be mentioned on the admit card. It is mandatory for applicants to bring admit cards to the exam venue for verification purpose.

CENTAC PG Result and Counseling 2021

The Result is expected to be declared within a week after the CENTAC PG 2021 exam. Admission will be granted strictly on the basis of merit list and availability of seats at the time of counseling.

Applicants will be intimated by the call letters and newspapers about the counseling. Counseling schedule will be also published on the official website (pec.edu).  Candidates will be required to pay a counseling fee of RS 1100/- (Rs 550/- for SC/ST) in the form of Demand Draft.
