CENTAC Eligibility Criteria 2023

This post is based on providing information related to CENTAC eligibility criteria 2023. Candidates who have appeared in CENTAC exam 2023 they must confirm their eligibility before applying for the same. Though this post I’ve tried here to furnish all possible details related to eligibility conditions required for appearing in this exam.

As, CENTAC is organized for aspirants seeking admission to MBBS, BAMS, BDS, BPT, B.V.Sc & A.H, B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc (MLT), B.Tech, B.Pharm, and B.A LLB programmes, therefore, we are providing below programme-wise eligibility conditions.

Eligibility Criteria for M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.P.T., Degree programmes

For admission to M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.P.T., Degree programmes, candidates should have cleared H.Sc (Academic) examination organized by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any equivalent test along with obtaining at least 50% marks (40% of marks for BCM/ OBC/MBC/ BT/ EBC/SC candidates) in aggregate.

Subjects should have studied by candidates include Chemistry, Physics and Biology or Biotechnology, Botany and Zoology. Along with that, candidates should have studied English as one of the subjects.

For BAMS Degree Programmes

Candidates who are looking for admission to BAMS programmes they should have obtained minimum 50% marks (45% for BCM/ OBC/MBC/ OPH (General & OBC)/ EBC and 40% of marks for SC/BT & OPH) in the subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English. Along with that candidates should have passed all subjects individually.

For B.Sc., Nursing Degree Course

Candidates who are seeking admission to the B.Sc (Nursing) degree programmes they should have cleared H.Sc exam organized by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or its equivalent examination along with securing 45% marks (40% marks BCM/ OBC/MBC/ BT/ EBC/SC) in Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Botany and Zoology.

For B.Sc. (MLT) Degree programme

For admission to B.Sc (MLT) degree programme candidates should have cleared H.Sc (Academic/Vocational) test organized by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamilnadu or its equivalent along with obtaining at least 50% marks (40% marks for BCM/ OBC/MBC/ BT/ EBC/SC).

For B.Tech Degree Programme

Candidates aspiring to get admission to B.Tech degree programme they should have cleared Higher Secondary (Academic) exam organized by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent test with obtaining at least 45% marks (40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC) in subjects including Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects from Bio-Technology/ Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology (Botany & Zoology).

For B.Pharm Degree Programme

Candidates, aspiring to get admission to B.Pharm degree program they should have completed Higher Secondary (Academic) education or its equivalent with Chemistry, Physics and one of the optional subjects from Mathematics/ Biology (Botany & Zoology)/ Computer Science/BioTechnology with obtaining 45% of marks (40% marks MBC/ OBC/BCM/EBC/BT/SC). They should have obtained the qualifying degree from the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu.

For B.A. LL.B (Five years Integrated Regular Programme)

Candidates who are looking for admission to B.A LLB degree programme they should have obtained Higher secondary qualification from the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or its equivalent exam with 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST category applicants).

For LL.B (Three years Regular Course)

For admission to LLB programme, candidates should have obtained Bachelor’s degree from any University or its equivalent exam with at least 45% in aggregate if they belong to General/ MBC/BCM/ OBC/EBC/BT (40% for SC/ST).
