The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the responsible authority that conducts Chartered Accountant – Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT) for the aspirants who are willing to build their career in Chartered Accountancy. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates have to fulfill following eligibility conditions in order to appear in CA CPT Entrance exam 2021:
- Candidates need to pass class 10th & 12th examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Candidates should hold registration with ICAI before the end date of examination.
- If you are a Bachelor’s degree holder with Commerce stream and obtained minimum 55% marks then you don’t need to appear in CA CPT.
- If you have completed Bachelor’s degree with any other stream then you need to score minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
- In case you have obtained the degree from an Open University then also you are exempted from appearing in the entry level test.
CA CPT Application Form 2021
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) may release the CA CPT Application form in February 2021. Candidates may apply online before last week of February 2021 without late fee and first week of March 2021 with late fee of 600/- or US$ 10. Candidates can apply online for the exam at http://icaiexam.icai.org and also pay the applicable examination fee online only. However, the examination application form for Post Qualification Course Examination i.e. International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) is to be filled up in the paper based form only and is priced at ` 100/- per examination application form.

CA CPT 2021 May Admit Card
Once you have applied for CA CPT 2021 in online mode then you may download your admit card in online mode. The authority usually releases admit card minimum 21 days before starting the test. One may obtain his/her admit card simply by logging into his/her account by using the respective registration ID and password.
Cut Off
Candidates have to cross the sectional as well as the overall cutoff in order to get qualified in CA CPT Entrance exam. The overall cutoff is 50% marks of 200 i.e. you have to obtain at least 100 marks out of 200 in order to get qualified. Please go through the details associated with a sectional cutoff of CA CPT.
