The Bharati Vidyapeeth University will conduct the BVP CET 2020 exam in order to screen the candidates for admission to various UG and PG courses. The BVP CET 2020 exam will be conducted on different dates for different courses. The interested candidates will be able to apply for the exam in both online and offline mode. It is expected that the entrance exam for the B.Tech admission will be conducted on 24th May 2020.

BVP CET Eligibility criteria 2020

The aspiring candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below in order to appear for the BVP CET 2020 exam.

For B.Tech

  • The candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks (45% of candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD)
  • The aspirant should have studied Mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects and any one of the Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical vocational subject at the 10+2 level.


  • The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates).
  • The candidate must have studied Mathematics at graduation or 10+2 level.


  • The aspirant must have a bachelors or Masters degree with at least 50% marks.


  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)

BVP CET Application Form 2020

The application form for BVP CET 2020 exam will be made available in both online and offline. The candidates who are willing to apply in online mode need to register themselves on the official website of the university. After registration, the applicants have to enter all their educational, personal and contact details in the application form. In addition the details, the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature in the application form.

In offline mode, candidates can obtain the printed application form from the university’s admission office. The candidates have to fill the offline application form in neat and clean handwriting. The offline application form will be submitted at the following address

Application Fee 

The application fee for BVP CET 2020 will also depend upon the course for which the candidate is looking to apply. The application fees for some of the courses are as follows:

BVP CET Engineering (B.Tech): Rs. 1500/-

BVP CET Law (BBA LLB/ BA LLB): Rs. 1200/-

BVP CET B-MAT (MBA): Rs. 1700/-

BVP CET PHARMUG (B.Pharma/ Pharma.D): Rs. 1450/-

Mode of Payment:

  • The candidates can pay the application fee online by using a credit card, debit card or net banking.
  • The application fee can also be paid via bank challan.

BVP CET 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for BVP CET 2020 exam will be different of all the courses. However, there are some general points common for all the exams as given below:

Mode of Exam: Offline (OMR Sheet Based Exam)

Type of Questions: Only objective type multiple choice questions will be asked.

Number of Questions: 200 Questions will be asked.

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours except for MBA/ MCA course. The duration of Exam for MBA/ MCA course will be 2 Hours and 30 Minutes.

Marking scheme: 1 Mark will be awarded for a correct answer.

Negative Marking: There is no provision of Negative Marking

BVP CET Syllabus 2020

The syllabus of BVP CET 2020 will depend upon the course for which the candidate is looking to apply.   For admission to UG courses such as B.Tech, BAMS etc., the syllabus will be as per the curriculum of class 11th and 12th.  For admission to PG courses, the candidates need to prepare as per the graduation level syllabus of the particular programme.

How to prepare for BVP CET 2020?

The candidates must be well-prepared in order to obtain good marks in the BVP CET 2020 exam. Here are some tips that can help the aspiring candidates to do well in the exam.

  1. The sections such as mathematics, logical reasoning etc. require an ample amount of practice. So it is important that you should keep practicing the mathematics and reasoning problems regularly.
  2. You need to answer 200 questions in around 3 hours, so your answering speed is going to be crucial. You should learn some shortcut tricks to do calculations so that you can save some precious time.
  3. Solve at least 2 previous year question papers and mock tests in a week to be more familiar with the exam pattern.
  4. Keep revising the topics you have completed so you don’t have the extra burden of revision near the exam time.
  5. You may also take some help from online lectures and mobile apps for preparation.

BVP CET Admit Card 2020

The admit card of BVP CET 2020 exam will be released in online mode through the official website. The candidates can download their admit card by logging in to their accounts on the official website. The information related to the exam schedule and venue will be mentioned the admit card. It is mandatory for every candidate to carry the hard copy of a downloaded admit card to the exam center. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.

Result and Counselling

After the commencement of exam, the candidates can check the result online from the official website. The aspirants have to log in to their accounts in order to download their result card. The category wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of BVP CET 2020 result. The candidates who will get their names in the merit list will be invited to participate in the counselling process.

During the counseling process, the successful candidates have to carry all their relevant documents in original for verification purpose. The counselling process will continue till many rounds depending upon the availability of seats.
