BVP CET 2019: Application Form, important dates, eligibility criteria

BVP CET 2019: Bharati Vidyapeeth University is the responsible authority for organizing BVP CET exam every year. BVP CET 2019 is a University level entrance test organized for providing admission in various UG & PG programmes offered by BVP and its affiliated institutions. The entrance test will be held separately for different education fields such as Engineering, Management, Medical and other courses. Candidates who want to get admission in the courses offered by BVP or its affiliated institutions have to apply for the BVP CET 2019. BVP CET 2019 Important dates (tentative)

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for various courses offered by BVP University and its affiliated colleges may vary from each other. Candidates who want to appear for BVP CET 2019 are advised to first check their eligibility as laid down by the University for that particular programme and then proceed further. Below, we are providing the details on BVP CET 2019 eligibility criteria for UG engineering programmes offered by the university:

For B.Tech courses:

Interested candidates must have done /appearing the class 12th or equivalent examination from recognized university with Physics & Mathematics as the mandatory subjects along with any of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and Technical Vocational. They have to pass the qualifying examination with no less than 45% marks (40% in case of candidates from for SC/ST category).

Eligibility for MCA courses

  • Candidates should have done at least three years Bachelor Degree and must be studied Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at the graduate level. They must score at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) marks in the qualifying examination.
  • For admission to MCA Lateral entry course, candidates need to pass Bachelor Degree in BCS, BCA, B. Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 12th class or at the graduate level.
  • Age criteria: There is no provision of age limit.

For MBA:

  • Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Age limit: There is no provision for the upper age limit to apply.
  • Academic qualification: Candidates should have done Bachelor or Master Degree in any discipline with no less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST category).

BVP CET 2019 Application Form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates have to apply for BVP CET 2019 entrance test as per the scheduled date. Applicants can fill the BVP CET application form 2019 via online or offline mode through the website. Before starting the application process, candidates are advised to read the important instructions about BVP CET application fill in process carefully. Candidates are recommended to fill the application form according to the programmes they have opted. It should be noted that the application form for various courses will be available on different dates. Applicants have to pay an applicable application fee for the successful submission of application form. The payment of fee can be done through online or offline mode (as applicable).

Exam pattern

The Bharati Vidyapeeth University organizes the BVP CET exam for offering admission to different UG/PG courses. The university will organize BVP CET 2019 in offline mode separately for all the courses. The complete details of BVP CET 2019 Exam pattern are provided below:

BVP CET Syllabus

The syllabus of the BVP CET 2019 exam will be varied course wise. The BVP CET 2019 Syllabus for engineering will cover topics from Physics and Mathematics subjects of the Intermediate level. While, the BVP CET Medical test will comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects based on 12th class. Questions will be asked in the entrance test as per the subjects opted by the candidates.

Admit Card

Candidates, those registered successfully for the exam, will get their admit card before one or two weeks from the commencement of examination. The admit card will bear the important details of exam and candidate such as examination centre, date and time of the exam, candidate name, roll number, subject code etc. It is necessary for all candidates to carry their admit card in the examination center. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the examination hall without holding a valid card.


The result of BVP CET 2019 will be announced after a few days of exam completion. The BVP CET result for all different courses will be released on different dates. After the announcement of the result, a merit list will be prepared based on candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. Admission will be given to candidates on the basis of their merit rank.

BVP CET Counselling 2019

The authority will invite selected candidates for counselling process on the basis of merit list. Candidates need to attend the counselling in person as per the prescribed schedule. Document verification and seat allotment will be done during the counselling process. Therefore, candidates need to bring their original documents along with the photocopies at the time of counselling. Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of merit and availability of the seats. In document verification process, candidates have to bring. After the process of seat allotment, students are needed to appear at the allotted college with required fees and documents.
