BVP CET 2023: Application Form, Important Dates, Eligibility Criteria

BVP CET 2023: Bharati Vidyapeeth University conducts various common entrance tests (CET) to select the candidates for admission into different courses. Some of the numerous programs offered by the university are as follows – B.Tech, B.Pharma, M.Tech, BCA, MBA, etc. Please note that the exams for all the courses will be conducted separately. Candidates who are looking to appear for the exam need to fill and submit the application form in online mode. Complete details regarding the BVP CET 2023 examinations are provided in this post.

BVP CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are different for all the courses as explained below.

For Undergraduate courses

  • B.Tech: The candidate must have passed the class 12th or equivalent exam with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidates having a diploma in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) are also eligible.
  • B.Pharma: Aspirants need to clear the 12th class examination with Physics, chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.
  • BCA: Candidates must have cleared the class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • BBA: Aspirants who have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board are eligible to apply.
  • LLB: Those who have completed the graduation or post-graduation in any stream are eligible to apply.

For postgraduate courses

  • M. Tech: The aspirant must have completed B.Tech/ B.E in a relevant branch with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates)
  • M.pharma: Aspirant should possess B.Pharma with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST, teacher, and sponsored category candidates)
  • MCA: Candidates who have completed graduation in any field with Mathematics at graduation or 10+2 level can apply.
  • MBA: Aspirants having a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) are eligible.
  • LLM: A law graduate with at least 50% marks in aggregate is eligible for admission to LLM degree programme.

BVP CET 2023 Application Form

The application form for BVP CET 2023 will release in online mode through the official website of the University. In order to access the application form, candidates need to visit the university’s website i.e. www.bvuniversity.edu.in.

  • In the application form, candidates are required to provide the following personal details such as – Name, Gender, Category, Date of Birth, etc.
  • Additionally, the aspirants also need to enter the academic details such as year of passing, marks obtained, etc.
  • Apart from this, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
  • After entering all the details in the application form successfully, candidates have to submit the necessary application fee.
  • The process of application will not be considered complete unless the candidate pays the required application fee.
  • A confirmation page will be generated after the submission of the application form. Aspirants should keep a copy of the confirmation page for future requirements.

BVP CET 2023 Exam Pattern

The basic pattern of BVP CET 2023 exam is given below.

  • Mode of examination: Offline (Pen and paper based examination)
  • Type of questions: Objective type multiple choice questions
  • Number of questions: 200
  • Duration of exam: 3 hours (except for MCA & MBA course for which the duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes)
  • Language of questions: English
  • Marking pattern: 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer
  • Negative marking: There is no provision for negative marking

BVP CET 2023 Admit Card

  • The candidates who will fill and submit an application form before the last date will be able to download the admit card.
  • An admit card will carry information about the venue, date, and time of the examination.
  • It is compulsory for all the candidates to carry a hard copy of the downloaded admit card along with photo ID proof.
  • No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall without an admit card.

BVP CET Result 2023

  • The university will declare BVP CET 2023 results in online mode through the official website.
  • Apart from the result, the university will also release a merit list based on the marks secured by the candidates.
  • Separate merit lists will be released for admission into separate courses.
  • Those candidates who will get their names in the merit list will be invited to take part in the counselling process.
