Eligibility Criteria

• The eligibility criterion is the prime thing which candidates mandatory need to have before they apply for the PhD program.
• For the PhD program, candidates must have completed he masters degree in the appropriate subjects from any recognized institute or university.
• Candidates need to have a minimum of 55% marks in the examination of the Master Degree.
• The candidates of the SC and ST category will be offered the relaxation of 5% in the marks.
• Candidates, who are appearing for the final year of the Master’s Degree, can also apply to the PhD program but their admission will be considered provisional only.

• The application forms for the PhD program will be available online only.
• The application forms will be filled by the candidates online.
• Candidates will have to give the details of their name, father’s name, and contact information as their address and mobile/phone number in the application form.
• Having filled all the details in the application form, candidates will have to take the printout of the application form.
• After taking the printout of the application form, candidates shall have to attach all the documents with the application form and send that to the university’s registrar office before the form submission date.
• The candidates of the SC and ST category will; have to attach the caste certificate with the application form.

Details about the Application/Registration Fee

• Candidates will have to make the payment of the application fee thru the online modes such as credit card/debit card/online banking etc.
• The application fee for the candidates of the general category will be Rs. 2000.
• The candidates of the reserved category will be given the benefits of the reservation and they will have to make the payment of the application fee of Rs. 1000.
  

Selection Procedure

• The admission will be based on the result and marks attained by the candidates in the entrance examination.
• The entrance examination shall be conducted by the university.
• There shall be 2 question papers in the entrance examination and candidates need to gain a minimum 40% marks in the question paper with aggregate marks of 50% in both question papers.
• The candidates of the reserved category will be offered the relaxation of the 5% marks.
• The syllabus of the entrance exam will be as the syllabus has been prescribed for UGC/CSIR/CAR-NET/JRF Exam.
