XAT Eligibility criteria 2019
It is must for all the applicants to fulfill the important eligibility criteria of XAT 2019 as laid down by the organizing body before applying. Those, who fail to meet the eligibility conditions, are not allowed to appear in the exam. The complete details of XAT eligibility criteria 2019 are listed below:
- Indian nationals holding a minimum of three years duration bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from any recognized college or institution are eligible to apply.
- NRI & foreign applicants can also apply through GMAT score.
XAT Application form
Interested and eligible candidates have to first register themselves through online. XAT 2019 registration process is the main step towards applying for XLRI and XAT associated institutions. The complete info about XAT application form 2019 in detail is mentioned below.
Aspirants have to apply through the online mode from the official website of the board. They have to login and then have to register by creating their account. On successful registration, XAT 2019 ID and password will be issued to candidate. Using the same login credentials, you can access and fill the form. Enter all the required details and also upload the scanned images of photograph & signature as per the specification. Thereafter, make the payment of necessary fee through online or offline mode. Candidates should take printout of the confirmation page for further use.
XAT Exam Pattern 2019
It is must for all the candidates to be well aware from XAT 2019 Exam Pattern to make a good exam planning and work accordingly. The exam will be comprised of two sections i.e. paper 1 and paper 2. Details of XAT Exam Pattern 2019 are provided below:
Mode of examination: Online mode.
Number of Questions: The paper 1 will include 72 questions and paper 2 will include 25 questions & one essay topic.
Duration: 170 minutes (paper 1) and 35 minutes for (paper 2).
Sections: The entrance test will include questions from following sections: Quantitative Ability, Decision Making, English Language & Logical Reasoning, G.K and Essay.
Negative marking: There will be a negative marking in part A of the examination. For every wrong response, ¼ marks will be deducted. However, in Part B there is no provision for negative marking.

XAT Syllabus 2019
There is not any predefined XAT 2019 syllabus for the aspirants. Generally, the paper will include the questions from following sections, i.e. English Language & Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, Decision Making, General Knowledge & Essay.
XAT Admit Card
The hall ticket for XAT 2019 is expected to be released in the month of December 2018. Candidates can obtain the admit card through online mode only. The authority will not send hard copies of XAT 2019 admit card via post or any other offline mode. Candidates can download the admit card by entering their unique User ID & Password in the given fields. It is mandatory for the candidates to bring the admit card to the examination center.
XAT 2019 Answer Key
The XLRI will issue the answer key after a few weeks of the examination. The answer key will be uploaded in PDF format. Candidates can check and download the XAT answer key 2019 from the official website in the month of January 2019 (tentatively).
XAT Result 2019
The conducting body will announce the XAT 2019 result in online mode most likely in the month of January 2019. Candidates can check their result along with the OMR Answer sheet through the official website. To check the result, candidates need to provide their login details. The authority will also publish the candidate’s scorecard of XAT Exam 2019 after a few days of result declaration. Based on the XAT Score card, admission will be offered to the candidates.
XAT Cut Off
The Institution will publish the XAT 2019 cut-offs for different programmes of XLRI through online only. A sectional wise cut off will be released according to each section separately. Candidates who score the minimum cutoff marks will be considered eligible for admission to the XLRI & XAT associate institutions.
XAT 2019 Admission
Admission will be offered to the candidates on the basis of their performance in the exam. Candidates, who would apply for more than one programme, will be invited to the multiple interviews & group discussion rounds. The conducting body shortlists the candidates for counselling on the basis of their XAT 2019 score, previous academic background & relevant work experience. It should be noted down the selection criteria for different courses may vary depending upon the nature of the course. The admission to UG management courses offered by XLRI & XAT related institutions will be made through XAT performance, personal interviews or group discussions, academic background, relevant work experience & extracurricular activities.
