Eligibility criteria

Candidates need to satisfy below eligibility conditions before apply admission to MBA programme at Utkal University.

• • Candidates must be graduated with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) of Utkal University or of any recognized university
  • Candidates appearing in the Final year of qualifying Examination can make a provisional application waiting releasing of results subject to satisfying the minimum eligibility condition at the time of interview.

The interested and eligible candidates can obtain the Prospectus and Application form for MBA Admission from the official website of university i.e. www.utkaluniversity.ac.in and www.utkalmfc.org.

They need to download the form and read all instructions before starting filling up process. The filled up form must be included two bank drafts, one in favour of the “Comptroller of Finance, Utkal University for Rs.150/- and the other In favour of “Co-ordinator, MBA (Financial Management)”, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar for Rs.350/- payable at any Nationalized Bank in Bhubaneswar. Candidates should submit the form along with important documents and fee before due date.

Examination Pattern

A written entrance test will be organized by the Department of Commerce of Utkal University, Bhubaneswar for providing admission to MBA programme.

• The paper will be in the form objective type questions
• The duration of exam will be two hours.

Selection process

Admission of applicants for the MBA (Financial Management) previously MFC programme will be done on the basis of Entrance Test, Personal Interview and Group Discussion. On the basis of performance in written test, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a group discussion and psychological test followed by a personal interview by the university.

Applicants invited for written test and interview will appear at their own cost. In all matters concerning to selection, the decision of the Admission Committee will be final.
