The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board will soon announce its management examination widely known as MPMET (Madhya Pradesh Management Entrance Test) for the year 2019. The candidates who qualify this exam will get admissions into the various AICTE approved government and private MBA colleges across the state of Madhya Pradesh. Eligibility Criteria for MPMET 2019
The following criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates if they desire to appear for the MPMET 2019:
- Candidates must have earned their Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university or equivalent.
- The minimum passing marks for the SC/ST candidates is 45%.
- Applicants who are in graduation final year can also apply, but they will need to present their passing certificate at the time of admission.
MP MET 2019 Application Form: How to apply?
The candidate can find the application form for MPMET 2019 on the official website. Fill all the required details and upload a recent photograph and scanned copy of your signature. After filling all the details correctly, the final form will be submitted. An application fee is also chargeable which is Rs 1300/- (Rs 650/- if the candidates belong to SC/ST/Handicapped category). An online service charge of Rs 50/- will be charged separately. The application form must be filled with utmost care as once submitted, no changes are possible. It is also important that you keep a copy of the duly filled application form and fee payment slip for future correspondence.
Note: The fee payment can also be done in cash by visiting the nearest MP Online Kiosk.
The entrance test will be held offline, i.e., pen and paper-based, and the total duration of the exam will be 165 minutes. The total number of questions will be 200 and there is no negative marking for the incorrect answer. The paper is divided into the following five sections:
- Reading Comprehension
- Verbal and Writing Ability
- Numerical Ability
- Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency
- Business Judgment
The admit cards of all the candidates will be uploaded on the official website. The admit card will contain details of the candidate such as name, date of birth, roll number and information related to the exam, center, date and timing. The candidate can download this card and they need to affix a passport size photograph in the space provided for it. Along with the admit card, do not forget to carry an original and valid identity proof at the exam venue.
Just like admit card, the results of the test will also be uploaded on the official website. by providing their roll number or application number, the qualified candidates will be able to check their result. The scorecard must be downloaded by the candidate as the result window will be closed after one month (approx.) after the result announcement.
MPMET 2019 Counseling
On the basis of the result, a merit list will be prepared. The candidate will be called for counseling as per the merit list to verify their documents and get their seat allotted. The following documents must be carried to the counseling center:
- MPMET scorecard
- Class 10th and 12th mark sheet
- Graduation mark sheet
- Migration certificate
- Photo ID and Address Proof
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- PWD certificate (if applicable)
- Domicile certificate (if applicable)
