MAT 2019: All India Management Association (AIMA) is the respective authority which organizes Management Aptitude Test (MAT 2019). It is one of most popular management entrance exams organized for offering admission to MBA/PGDM courses. This national level entrance test held four times in a year. The MAT 2019 scores will be considered by over 600 B-Schools across India. It is expected that, the first MAT exam will be organized in the month of February then in May, September and December months respectively.

MAT 2019 Important Dates

MAT 2019 Eligibility criteria

It is must for all candidates to ensure their eligibility before applying MAT 2019 exam.  The conducting body has determined some set of conditions which candidates have to fulfill in order to take the entrance examination. Qualification criteria: Should have done graduation in any discipline.

There will be no provision on age criteria.

MAT 2019 Application form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates willing to purse master of business administration course can apply anytime for MAT. The MAT application form 2019 will be available either through online or offline mode. For online application mode, candidates have to visit the official website of AIMA. Applicants can also collect the OMR application form along with MAT information booklet from AIMA, New Delhi by paying the necessary registration fee. Candidates are advised to fill the required details in the application form carefully. They also have to upload signature and photograph as per the prescribed manner.

Application Fee:

  • For Paper Based Test (PBT) or Computer Based Test (CBT): Rs 1550/-
  • For Both CBT and PBT: Rs 2650/-
  • Payment can be made through debit card/ credit card/net banking and Demand Draft (DD).

Exam pattern MAT 2019

It is necessary for all candidates to have to good knowledge on the examination scheme. On the basis of exam patter, they can get familiar with the type of questions asked in the exam, sections covered and the exam marking scheme. Below, we’ve provided the MAT 2019 Exam pattern details

MAT 2019 Syllabus

Understanding of MAT Syllabus is very important for the better preparation of the exam. The questions in the exam will be asked from five different sections including i.e. Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, and Indian and Global Environment.

Admit Card

Candidates who would register successfully for the exam can download their MAT 2019 admit card in the month of May (for May session). Admit card will not be issued via post or through any other modes. The MAT Hall ticket will contain the details like candidate name, Roll No., Form No, date and timing of the test and exam center address.

MAT 2019 Result

The result of MAT 2019 will be declared at least one or two weeks after the completion of exam. The authority will announce the result online only on its official website. Candidates can check their result by entering roll number, registration number and by selecting month of test.

Score Card

The MAT Score Card will be published on AIMA website after the announcement of result. In addition, the score card will also send to the candidates via post. Please note down, the score card will be valid only for one session i.e. for admission to that particular year only. The score card of MAT is accepted by the various reputed B-Schools in India.

Admission Process

Based on MAT scores, the shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear in further round of selection organized by various MIs. There will be no centralized counselling organized by the AIMA. Each management institute has its own selection process and candidates have to apply individually for the admission process. Basically, the selection process includes of Group Discussion, Personal Interview and/or Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds. Final admission of candidate will be done on basis of candidate’s performance in written entrance exam and in further rounds.
