CMAT 2021: Result(Released)

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) will be organized by the NTA to shortlist candidates for admissions into different management programs across the country. a large number of participating management institutes will accept the CMAT 2021 score for providing admission to the candidates. Application form for the same is available online. The admission test will also be held on 31st March 2021.

CMAT 2021 Major Highlights

• NTA is just the conducting body for CMAT and the admission process will be carried out as per the rules of the admitting institutes.
• Each and every process related to CMAT 2021, i.e., application form, admit card, exam and result will be online.
• A valid and active email id and phone number are must for filling the application form.
• Candidates should not submit more than single application form as multiple applications will be rejected.
• The applicants must keep their admit card safe as it will be required at the time of admission process.
• Candidates must appear in the exam shift and venue as assigned to them in their admit card.

CMAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for CMAT 2021 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

CMAT 2021 Application Form

Candidates will be able to apply online for CMAT 2021 from the official website ntacmat.nic.in. Before filling the application form, the candidates are suggested to ensure their eligibility criteria and read the important instructions carefully.

• First, the candidates will have to register themselves giving their basic personal details and obtain an application number and password.
• The candidates will then have to provide their rest personal and educational details to fill the application form.
• Scanned copies of photograph and signature should also be uploaded in the application form.
• After providing every detail correctly into the application form, the candidates can submit it along with the required application fee.
• Once the application form is submitted successfully, the candidates should take a printout of the application form and fee receipt and keep them safe.

Application fee:

• The application fee will be Rs. 1400/- for general/ OBC candidates and Rs. 700/- for other category candidates.
• Candidates can submit their application fee using credit card/ debit card/ net banking or via e-Challan deposited at State Bank of India.

CMAT 2021 Syllabus

The syllabus for the management test is given below as:

• Language Comprehension: Vocabulary, Grammar, Reading Passages, Synonyms & Antonyms, Correction of Sentences, etc
• Logical Reasoning: Number Series, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relation, Syllogisms, Venn Diagram, Puzzles, Binary Logic, Letter Series, etc
• Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation: Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Simple & Compound Interest, etc
• General Awareness: Current Affairs, India & its Neighbouring Countries, Awards, Scientific Research, Geography, History, Polity, Science & Technology, etc.

CMAT 2021 Admit Card

• The admit card to appear in the exam will be uploaded on the official website of NTA.
• Candidates will have to download their admit card, take its printout and carry it to the exam center.
• Along with the admit card, the candidates must also carry one passport sized photograph, photo id card and PwD certificate (if applicable) to the exam center.
• Entry into the exam hall will not be granted in case of absence of a valid admit card.
• Admit card will contain the details of the examination, shift, date and time, and venue.
• Important instructions to be followed at the exam center will also be mentioned on the admit card.

CMAT 2021 Answer Key

• The NTA will display answer keys and recorded responses of the questions on the website ntacmat.nic.in.
• The candidates not satisfied with the answer keys/ recorded responses can challenge by filling an online application form and paying a processing charge of Rs. 1000/- per question.
• The processing fee can be paid by credit card/ debit card/ net banking and will be non-refundable.

CMAT 2021 Result

• On the basis of answer key, final result will be compiled and released in online mode.
• The candidates will be able to check their result and also download the score card from the official website.
• On the basis of their score the candidates will then be able to apply for the admission process of different participating institute.
• No request regarding re-evaluation/ re-checking of the score will be entertained.

CMAT Admission Process

• Candidates who are declared as qualified in the CMAT exam can apply for the admission procedure of participating institutes.
• Before applying for the same, the candidates should make sure that they fulfill the eligibility and other requirements of the institute they are applying for.
• The participating institutes can conduct interview, group discussion, etc as per their own selection process.
• Applicants who clear all these rounds (as per applicability) will then be considered for final admissions into these institutes.
