CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) 2017 is a National level Management Entrance Exam conducted by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) for admission to MBA, PGP and PGDM courses offered by numerous B-schools across the country. Previously, this exam was conducted twice in a year i.e. in the month of September and February but from the year 2016, the exam is organized only once in a year. - Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- No age limit is specified for appearing in this test.
- Final year graduated can apply if they are expecting their result before commencement of the programme.

In order to apply for CMAT 2017 or to obtain its application form; candidates need to log on to its official website. During application form filling process, candidates will be asked to choose dates and three exam venues. Once you have submitted these details, you’ll be allotted dates and exam as per the “first come first served” basis.

For General and OBC category candidates: Rs 1400 + Bank charges
For SC/ST/PD category candidates: Rs 700 + Bank charges

- Candidates will be given 180 minutes to solve the question paper.
- Total number of questions will be 100 asked from Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, General Awareness, Language Comprehension; each section will contain 25 questions.
- Every right answer is associated with four marks whereas; one mark will be subtracted for each wrong answer.
The conducting authority will follow the syllabus of Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, General Awareness, Language Comprehension while preparing the question paper.

CMAT 2017 admit card will be available at the official website tentatively in the month of January, 2017. You will be restricted from appearing in the test if you do not have valid admit card.

Just after completion of the exam, candidates can calculate their marks they are going to obtain in the test by using the answer key. Answer key will be available on the website within two or three week of completion of the exam.
You can check result in the month of January, 2017. For exact date of declaration of result, keep visiting this page after certain interval of time period.

After declaration of result, a merit list will be prepared and based on this candidates will be further invited to attend the counseling procedure. According to the last year exam analysis, it is expected that the counseling process will be held in the month of May tentatively.
