About Secondary Education Board of Assam

Commonly known as SEBA, the Secondary Education Board of Assam is state level authority that is responsible for organizing examinations and provides complete assurance for quality of education in the schools of Assam that have an affiliation to it. The state rewards High School Leaving Certificate through the authority this board to the students who have passed high school examination successfully. SEBA came in to existence in the year 1962.

Examination of Secondary Education Board of Assam

Execution of the examination successfully is the most important task of the Secondary Education Board of Assam. The exams are conducted between the month of February and March. Each year lakhs of students appear in the exam. Percent scored by the student in the examination is calculated on the basis of marks scored him in the exam. The time of the examination varies from 2 hours to 3 hours respectively for Elective Language and In-lieu language.
