Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria as specified by the authority. Ineligible candidates won’t be allowed to take the exam. Here are the criteria for Bihar Polytechnic examination-

Nationality: Indian only

Domicile: Candidate should either be a domicile of Bihar or his/her parents are government employee posted in Bihar.

For PE: A candidate must have passed/appearing in class 10th from a recognized board with minimum 35% aggregate marks.

For PPE: A candidates should be a minimum 19 years old as on 1st July 2020 and must have passed class 10th from a recognized board with 2 years of experience in I.T.I.

For PM: A candidate must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, English, Maths/Biology subjects. Candidates applying for GNM course are required to pass class 12th exam in PCB subjects with minimum 40% marks (40% for SC/ST). The candidate’s age must fall between 17 years and 31 years as on 31st December 2020.

For PMD: A candidate must have passed/appearing in class 10th from a recognized board with subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English. The candidate’s age must fall between 15 years and 30 years as on 31st December 2020.

For DCECE (LE): A candidate must have passed class 12th with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biology

Bihar Polytechnic 2020 Application Form

Before proceeding for the application form, candidates will be required to register themselves for the DCECE examination. Candidates can register via online mode by visiting http://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/. After registration, candidates need to login to fill the application form. The particulars mentioned in the form should be filled very carefully. Applicants will also need to upload the scanned copy of images in the form. Candidates can preview their application before submitting the form finally. No changes will be entertained once the form is submitted. Applicants will also need to pay a requisite amount of application fee to submit the form. The applications received without the mentioned fee will be rejected.
