The State Health Society will release the official notification for the recruitment of Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM). Both male and female candidates can apply for the recruitment of Bihar ANM 2024. The application form will be made available in online mode.

Eligibility Criteria

It is important for all the candidates to make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria given below before applying.

Age Limit

  • The age of a candidate should be more than 18 years.
  • The upper age limits are different for the candidates of various categories.
    • Unreserved (Male): 37 years
    • Unreserved (Female): 40 years
    • EWS (Male): 37 years
    • EWS (Female): 40 years
    • Backward Class: 40 years
    • Extremely Backward Class: 40 years
    • SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 years

Educational Qualification and Experience

  • The candidate should be registered with the registration council of Bihar Nurses.
  • Also, applicants must have an Auxillary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) certificate of 02 years,

Application Form

The application form of Bihar ANM 2024 will release in online mode through the official website of the state health society. Interested and eligible candidates who are looking to apply may access the application form through the official website.

  • To start the application process, candidates have to begin the initial registration.
  • During the initial registration, aspirants have to provide some of their basic details including Name, Date of birth, Email address, Gender, Domicile, etc.
  • Once the initial registration gets over, the login credentials will be generated for every applicant.
  • Then, the candidates may login and fill the main application form.
  • In the main application form, candidates are required to fill all of their necessary personal and educational details including Father’s name, mother’s name, address, academic qualification, etc.

  • General, BC, EWS, MBC categories: Rs. 500/-
  • SC and ST candidates: Rs. 250/-
  • PH and Female candidates: Rs. 250/-

Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

Admit Card

  • The admit card will be released in online mode through the official website of the state health society.
  • In order to download the admit card, candidates have to provides their registration details.
  • Important details like date, time, and venue of the exam will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • Candidates have to download the admit card and take a printout of the same.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre without an admit card.

  • General Ability: General Knowledge, General Science, Economics, Geography, Constitution, Culture, History, Indian Polity.
  • Analytical Ability: Arithmetic Reasoning, Decision Making, Problem Solving, Similarities, Space Visualisation, Verbal and Figural Classification, Data Sufficiency, Figural Series Compilation.
  • Numerical Ability: Percentage, Time and Work, Simplification, Profit and Loss, Time and Distance, Averages, Problems on Ages
  • Technical ANM subject: Community Health Nursing, Health Promotion, Primary Health Care, Child Health Nursing, Midwifery, Health Centre Management.

Result and Merit

  • After conducting the exam, the authorities will publish the result online through the official website.
  • The result card will consist of information about the subject-wise and total scores secured by the candidates.
  • Along with the result, authorities will also publish the merit list of candidates selected for admission.
  • In the merit list, 50% weightage will be given to the candidate’s performance in the computer based test. Similarly, 50% weightage will be given to the candidate’s previous academic performances.
