BHU CHS SET 2022: Application Form (Released), Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern and Dates

BHU SET 2022 is a common admission process for admission into the Central Hindu Boys’ School and Central Hindu Girls’ School. Candidates can take admission in the VIth, IXth and XIth class after qualifying the SET 2022. All the eligible students who are eligible can apply to take part in the examination which will be conducted through the offline mode. BHU CHS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Only the candidates, who fulfil the SET eligibility criteria, will be eligible to fill and submit the BHU SET Application form 2022 and take part in the entrance test. The eligibility norms have been given in the following points:

Educational Criteria (for external candidates):

  • For admission into the Arts stream, students must have passed the higher secondary school exam.
  • Candidates must have obtained minimum 40% marks for the Commerce programme.
  • For admission into the Science stream, candidates must have 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics separately. 

Age Criteria:

  • The age of the students must be 10-12 years for admission into 6th
  • The age must not be more than 13-15 years for admission into the 9th class admission.
  • The age of the students must not be more than 18 years for admission into the 11th

BHU SET 2022 Application Form

Candidates need to fill and submit the BHU SET application form through the official website which is ‘http://bhuonline.in’. The application form must be updated with the correct details and submit that online. Moreover, the students will have to pay the application fee as well for participating in the SET 2022. Candidates can pay the application fee through the credit card, debit card or net banking or through the HDFC bank challan. The fee details have been given in the following table:

BHU SET Exam Pattern 2022 (for  reference purpose only)

Fresh guideline- Admission to class XI and IX will be based on E-lottery result and class 11 shall be based on class 10 merit.

The details of the BHU SET Exam pattern have been given in the following points:

  • The BHU SET 2022 will be conducted through the offline mode.
  • The question paper will be in the English and Hindi language both.
  • The questions will be asked as per the respective class which candidates want to take admission in.
  • The questions asked will be of objective nature which will be required to be completed in a specific time-frame.

BHU SET Syllabus (for  reference purpose only)

For class VI: There will be 100 MCQ questions from subjects English, Mathematics, Hindi, General Science, and Social Science.

For class IX: The total number of MCQ will be 100 from subjects- Hindi, English, General Science, Mathematics, and Social Science

For class XI: The question paper will be of class X standard. The test paper comprises of 100 MCQ of subjects:

  • For Maths Group: English, Physics, Chemistry, Hindi, Mathematics and Gen. Studies.
  • For Bio Group: English, Physics, Hindi, Chemistry, Biology and Gen. Studies.
  • For Commerce & Arts Group: English, History, Hindi, Geography, Political Science, Economics, General Maths and Gen. Studies.

Admit Card (for  reference purpose only)

  • The authority will email BHU SET admit card to candidates to their respective email IDs as provided in the application form.
  • SMS notification will be also sent to candidates’ registered mobile numbers.
  • Candidates must provide genuine & working email ID and mobile number while filling up the online application form.
  • One can also download the admit card by visiting the official website of BHU Entrance Test Portal (www.bhuonline.in).
  • If you are unable to download your admit card a week before the test date then you should contact the Central Hindu Boys‟ School Office on Phone No. 0542-2450549.
  • You need to paste your photograph (the same was used in online application) at the space provided on your admit card and self-attest it.
  • There will be no postal dispatch of your admit card.
  • No candidates would be allowed to take the test without a valid admit card.

BHU SET 2022 Counselling

Candidates should be aware of BHU SET counselling process:

  • Candidates have to attend the counselling for admission into class VI, IX and XI and they will be offered a seat strictly on the basis of merit and choice provided by candidates.
  • No separate call letter will be issued to candidates to attend the counselling process.
  • The result and merit list will be displayed on the school official website www.bhuonline.in.
  • Candidates further need to attend the counselling along with prescribed documents (ORIGINAL MARKSHEET,  PREVIOUS SCHOOL LEAVING
    CERTIFICATE, DATE OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE, CATEGORY CERTIFICATE, ADMIT CARD ETC.)
