BCECE 2022: Admit Card (Released), Exam Date, Result

BCECE 2022 admit card has been released on 13th July 2022 through online mode. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will conduct Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) to shortlist the candidates for admission to engineering and pharma courses. Selected candidates will be offered enrollment into the private and government colleges of Bihar. Interested candidates can fill their application form before the intimated deadline that is 6th June 2022 20th June 2022. BCECE 2022 entrance exam will be conducted on 24th to 25th July 2022.

BCECE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill BCECE 2022 eligibility as laid down before they apply for this engineering entrance exam:

Domicile:

Age criteria:

• For Engineering: There is no age limit specified for engineering course.
• Pharamcy: The minimum age of a candidate should be 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Academic criteria:

Engineering

Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics/Physics/ Chemistry/  Electronics/Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Biotechnology/Informatics practices/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Engineering Graphics/Agriculture/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneur ship (Any of the Three).

Marks: They should have obtained minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in aggregate in the qualifying exam.

OR

Those have passed 3 years Diploma exam with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) are also eligible.

Pharmacy: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects combining with either Mathematics or Biology.

Medical fitness:

• The candidate must be medically fit in order to be eligible for admission. There will be a medical test after qualifying the test.

BCECE 2022 Application Form

BCECE 2022 application form has been released through online mode and can be obtained from the official website of the board bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Those who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply for the exam.

• First, the candidates need to fill a registration form providing details like name, mobile number, email address, etc and creating a password.
• Once the registration completes, the candidates can login to their account using email id and password and obtain the application form.
• In the application form, basic details related to the candidates (apart from the ones asked in the registration form) will be asked.
• Scanned copies of photograph and signature of the candidates should then be uploaded into the application form.
• Academic details related to the qualifying exam like school’s name, board’s name passing year, marks obtained, etc will also be asked into the form.
• After providing all the details as asked, the candidates can submit the form with the specified application fee.
• The applicants should then take a printout of the submitted application form and keep it with them for future reference.

Application fee:

• For General/ OBC category candidates opting for PCM/ PCB/ CBA/ PCA/ MBA/ MCA subject combinations: Rs. 1000/-
• For General/ OBC category candidates opting for PCMB subject combination: Rs. 1100/-
• For SC/ ST/ DQ category candidates opting for PCM/ PCB/ CBA/ PCA/ MBA/ MCA subject combinations: Rs. 500/-
• For SC/ ST/ DQ category candidates opting for PCMB subject combination: Rs. 550/-

Mode of payment:

• Payment of application fee can be done in online mode using net banking/ credit card/ debit card.
• Offline mode for payment of the application fee is also available and can be done through Challan.

BCECE 2022 Exam Pattern

BCECE 2022 exam pattern has been provided below.

• Mode of exam: Online mode
• Duration of exam: 90 minutes (for each section paper)
• Medium of exam: English and Hindi both
• Number of questions: 100 (for each paper)
• Type of questions: Objective type
• Total marks: 400 (for each paper)
• Marking Scheme: For each right answer 4 marks will be awarded to the candidates.
• Negative marking: For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted as penalty.

BCECE 2022 Admit Card

• BCECE 2022 admit card is now available online for download on the official website of BCECEB.
• Candidates should take a hard copy of the admit card and carry it with them while reporting to the exam center.
• Details of the exam such as center address, date and time will be mentioned on the admit card.
• In absence of a valid admit card, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and take their exam.
• Admit card should be preserved by the candidates as it may also be required at the time of admission.

BCECE Result

• BCECEB will declare BCECE result online.
• To check their result, the candidates will be asked to provide details such as application number, date of birth, roll number, etc.
• A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in BCECE entrance exam. Separate merit lists will be prepared for admission to different courses.
• Candidates will be invited to attend the further process of admission as per the names in the merit list.

BCECE 2022 Counseling

• Shortlisted candidates need to appear for the counseling round as per the schedule decided by the BCECEB.
• Complete details regarding the counseling will be communicated to the candidates via the official website of BCECEB after the declaration of result.
• Documents of the candidates will be verified at the time of counseling and therefore they should report with all their documents in original.
• Candidates will also be asked to provide their choice for course specialization and institute at the time of counseling.
• A medical test of the candidates will also be conducted which they must pass to get enrollment.
• Seat will then be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their choice and merit.

BCECE FAQs 2022

1. I made a mistake in the application form and submitted it. Is there any way I can correct it?

Answer: A correction window will be provided to the candidates to make any changes in the application form. Any mistake can be corrected during this period only.

2. I am unable to download my BCECE admit card. What should I do know?

Answer: Candidates who are unable to download their admit card for BCECE exam should at once contact the Examination Controller, BCECE Board Office, IAS Bhawan, Near Patna Airport, Patna.

3. If I am not happy with result can I ask for a re-evaluation?

Answer: No requests for re-checking of answer sheet or re-totaling of marks from the candidates will be entertained.

4. I haven’t cleared my class 12th yet. Can I apply for the BCECE exam?

Answer: Candidates appearing in their qualifying exam in the year 2022 can appear for the BCECE exam. However, such candidates should attain the minimum prescribed eligibility before the beginning of admission process.

5. What if a candidate fails to report for the admission?

Answer: Candidates who fail to report for the admission in the given time limit will not be considered for enrollment. No requests will be entertained in this regard.
