The Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) is the statutory apex body working under the Ministry of Health and Family Care, Department of AYUSH is the authorized organization for offering certification for all the institutes offering B.H.M.S. course.

Duration of Course

It’s a 4 and ½ year course with a one-year compulsory internship program. The course comprises of subjects including- Introduction to herbology, Fundamentals of Ayurvedic plant healing, Health, wellness and longevity, Immunology and immune system disorders,  Healing through nutritional therapies, Introduction to alternative medicine and History of holistic health.

Eligibility Criteria

The following candidates are allowed to apply.

  • Candidates who studied HSE or equivalent in science stream from a recognized state board of education with a minimum of 50% Marks are eligible to attend the program.
  • The applicant must have completed 17 years at the time of applying for the entrance exam. The B.H.M.S. seats of various institutes are offering only to the candidates who attended and passed the entrance exams conducted by various authorities.
