AU UGAT 2022: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Date

AU UGAT 2022– Allahabad University Undergraduate Entrance Test is organized for students seeking admission to regular degree programmes such as B.Com, B.A, B.Sc (Bio), B.Sc (Maths), B.P.E, B.F.A, B.S (GDS) and B.Mus offered by Allahabad University and its constituents colleges. The test is expected to be held for all programmes excluding B.P.E, B.F.A, B.S (GDS) and B.Mus at Allahabad, Delhi, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow and Kanpur, however for B.P.E, B.F.A, B.S (GDS) and B.Mus programmes, the exam will be organized at only Allahabad centre.

AU UGAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

• Students who have either passed or appeared for Intermediate exam from CBSE/ISC/UP Board or its equivalent exam are permitted to apply for UGAT for programmes such as B.S (GDS), B.A, B.P.E, B.F.A, B. Mus.
• Students who have passed or appeared for the aforesaid qualifying exam in Science can apply for admission to B.Sc (Maths & Biology).
• Female aspirants who have either cleared or appeared in aforesaid qualifying exam with Science group or with any group consisting Home Science as one of the subjects after completion of the high school studies with Science can only apply for UGAT.
• Students who have either cleared or appeared in aforesaid exam with Commerce stream or Science stream can apply for admission to B.Com programme.
• For B.Mus programme candidates should have studied Music as one of the subjects at Intermediate level.
• For BPE programme, candidates should have cleared qualifying exam with securing 40% marks (relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST). Along with that candidates’ age should not be more than 21 years as on 1^st July of the academic session.
• For BFA programmes, candidates’ age should not be above than 22 years as on 1^st July of the academic session.

How to Apply Online?

Candidates need to visit the official portal for applying in online mode. Before you start the online application procedure we advise candidates to keep their colored photograph (3.5*4.5 cm) and signature ready. Both documents should be in .JPEG format and size should not exceed 20 KB.

Application fee can be paid by using Challan in offline mode or in online mode. In offline mode, candidates first need to download the Challan and thereafter make the payment at any HDFC branch. Payment In online mode can be done through debit card/credit card/net banking.

AU UGAT 2022 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

I’m specifying below the subject wise exam pattern for Allahabad University UGAT:

The exam duration will be for two hours. Candidates will be awarded with 3 marks for every correct response whereas; one mark gets deducted for every incorrect response.

Pattern for B.A. Programme

• General Awareness-25 questions
• English or Hindi language and literature- 25 questions
• Knowledge test- 75 questions
• General mental ability test- 25 questions

Pattern for B.Sc Programme

• Science Group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics)- 120 questions
• General Hindi or General English- 20 questions
• General Awareness- 10 Questions

Pattern for B.Com Programme

• Intermediate level commerce – 120 Questions
• General Awareness- 10 Questions
• General Hindi or General English- 20 Questions

Pattern for BFA Admission Test

• There will be one theory paper consisting 75 objective type questions on visual arts. Total marks for the theory paper is 150.
• Practical exam of 150 marks. Candidates will be given 90 minutes of time.
• Memory Drawing of 150 marks and candidates will be given 90 minutes of time for the same.

Pattern for B.P.E

There will be two parts of the test, the very first one is written test of 100 marks and another one is Physical Efficiency Test of 100 marks.

Pattern for B.S (GDS)

Section A- There will be 50 objective type questions in the exam.

Section B- This section will contain descriptive answer type questions consisting 50 marks.

AU UGAT 2022 Admit Card

Candidates whose applicants are accepted by the authority can download their admit card from the official website by using their Application ID/OMR registration number and date of birth. You can download your AU UGAT 2022 admit card from May 2022 onwards.

Result

One who appeared in AU UGAT 2022, he/she may expect the date of availability of result in the month of May 2022. We’ll provide here direct link of accessing your result afte the announcement of similar official notification.

AU UGAT Admission Process

List of Documents Required for Admission

Candidates must bring following list of documents while coming to the counselling venue:

• UGAT 2022 admit card.
• Original Migration Certificate/ Transfer Certificate (T.C.).
• Original marks sheets and certificates of High School & Intermediate along with one set of photocopies.
• Recent Caste Certificate (Photocopy and Original).
• Two recently take passport size colour photograph;
• Admission fee in cash: Rs.924/- for Gen & OBC and Rs.180/- for SC/ST.

Candidates who are claimed for weightage relaxation then need to submit:

• Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC;
• NCC ‘B’ / ‘C’ Certificate;
• Physically handicapped Certificate;
• Sports certificate;
• Certificate for Kashmiri Migrants;
