Assam CEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for applying for Assam CEE 2022 are provided below:

Nationality: 

• Only candidates of Indian nationality are eligible to apply.

Domicile:

• The applicants should be a permanent resident of Assam.

Age limit: 

• The lower age limit and upper age limit of the candidates is 17 and 21 years respectively as on 1st August 2022.
• For B.Sc pass candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 1 year and for SC/ ST candidates a relaxation of 3 years is applicable.

Academic qualification:

• A pass in class 12th exam with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and scoring not less than 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects (45% marks for SC category candidates and 40% marks for ST category candidates).
• English as a subject at 10+2 level is also mandatory.
• The candidates must have passed all the subjects in the same sitting and without any grace marks.

Moral character:

• Candidate must possess a good moral character.

Physical fitness:

• The candidate must be physically and mentally fit to pursue the B.E/B.Tech degree program.

Assam CEE 2022 Application Form

Assam CEE 2022 application form has been released on the official website of the university www.astu.ac.in. Complete process of the filling and submission of the application form will be done through online mode.

• To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal details like name, date of birth, category, gender, nationality, domicile, etc.
• Details related to the class 12th exam like year of passing, marks obtained, school name, etc will be asked in the application form as well.
• The candidates will also have to upload their photograph and signature in scanned format into the application form.
• Care should be taken to provide only correct details into the application form as any incorrect information can make the form liable for rejection.
• Once all the information is entered in the application form, the candidates can submit it online along with the specified application fee.

Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) will first release provisional answer key.

• The provisional answer key Assam CEE 2022 will be uploaded on the website on the day of exam.
• Grievances on provisional answer key can be submitted by the candidates through online link available on the website.
• Subject experts will examine all the grievances received and the final answer key will again be displayed online.
• Decision of the university on the grievances will be final and no further communication is to be entertained. The results will be compiled on the basis of the final answer key.

Assam CEE 2022 Result

• The examination authority will declare Assam CEE 2022 result on the official website of Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).
• The online result and score card will be uploaded one week after the conduct of the entrance exam.
