Assam Combined Entrance Exam 2021 (Assam CEE 2021) is an engineering entrance exam which will be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University. The motive of this exam is to select to candidates for admission to B.Tech programme in the various colleges in the state of Assam. The application process for the Assam CEE 2021 exam is going to start from 14th July 2021. The candidate looking to apply for this exam needs to submit the application form in online mode.
It is an offline exam in which the candidates have to give their answers on an OMR Sheet. In order to apply for this exam, the candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of Assam.

The exam pattern of Assam CEE 2021 exam will be as follows:

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of Assam CEE 2021 exam will be as follows:
Nationality
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Nativity
- It is compulsory that the candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Age limit
- The age of a candidate should be 17 to 21 years as on 1st August 2021.
- 1-year relaxation in upper age will be given to B.Sc passed candidates.
- SC/ ST candidates will get 3 years relaxation in upper age.
Educational Qualification
- The applicant must have passed 10+2 exam with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks in these subjects (45% for SC/ ST candidates).
- The candidate must have studied English as a subject at 10+2 level.
Physical Requirement
- It is compulsory that the candidate is physically and mentally fit.
Other Requirements
- The candidate should possess a good moral character
Application Form
- The application form of the Assam CEE 2021 exam will be made available on the official website of the university i.e. astu.ac.in
- While filling the application form, the candidates need to provide the academic, personal and contact details. All the details should be authentic as documents will be verified later.
- Apart from entering the details, the candidates also need to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature.
- The format of the scanned images should be .jpeg or .jpg.
- The size of the uploaded photograph should be between 20 kb to 35 kb and the size of the uploaded signature should be between 15 kb to 30 kb.
- After submitting the application form, the candidates need to pay the application fee.
- Once the application fee is submitted the applicant may take the printout of submitted application form. However, there is no need to send the printout of application form to the university.
Application Fee
- The application fee for all the candidates will be Rs. 650/-
- The candidates need to pay the fee online through “State Bank Collect” using a credit card, debit card or net banking.
Note: The application fee once submitted will not be refunded.
Admit card
- The candidate will be able to download their admit card from the official website of the Assam science and technology university (ASTU) i.e. www.astu.ac.in.
- In order to download the admit card, the candidates need to provide the application form number/ username along with the password.
- The details regarding the exam time, venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
- It is important for every candidate to carry the admit card at the exam center otherwise he/she will not be allowed to take the exam.
- The candidate should keep the admit card safe till the admission process gets over.
Result
- The result of the Assam CEE 2021 exam will be released on the official website of the university.
- Along with the result, the university will also release the merit list of the qualified candidates.
- The merit list will be prepared as per the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam.
- The candidates will be invited to take part in the counselling process as per the merit list.
- There is no provision for re-checking/ re-evaluation of the answer sheets.
Counselling
- Soon after the declaration of Assam CEE 2021 result, the concerned authorities will invite the candidates to take part in the counselling process.
- All the details regarding the counselling process will be provided on the official website.
- At the time of counselling, the candidates have to provide their choice of courses and colleges.
- The candidates have to carry their documents at the time of counselling for verification purpose.
- The seats will be allotted as per the merit and choice filled by the candidates.
