ASRB NET Application Form: Learn Here the Steps to Apply

The article is delivering here complete guidelines to apply for ASRB NET exam. Before beginning the online registration procedure, I advise candidates to read the important instructions furnished in the article. It is being expected that the application form shall be available from October 2021. However, on the meantime, we’ll update here the actual date along with a direct link to the application.

What to Do First?

Candidates must ensure that they are meeting with minimum eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, age, discipline, category etc. Appearing in the exam without fulfilling the minimum required criteria will lead to cancellation of your candidature. During the verification procedure, if any candidate is found ineligible, he/she will be terminated from the admission procedure at the same time. The verification procedure will be conducted through the documents submitted by candidates after completion of ARS (Main) exam.

  • No. of Attempts: No restrictions in case of no. of attempts
  • Age: A candidate should be minimum 21 years old as on the given date (will be updated soon may be as on 1st July 2019).
  • Qualification: A recognized Master’s degree or it’s equivalent in the concerned discipline.

Instructions to Apply

  • The application form will be obtained in online mode from the official website i.e. http://www.asrb.org.in.
  • A candidate not fulfilling the minimum required criteria is restricted to apply for the exam. Therefore, I advise you to read all instructions very carefully.
  • During the online submission of application, candidates do not need to attach any sort of documents/certificates.
  • ARS (Preliminary) exam qualified candidates will be required to submit self-attested copies of the documents/certificates including the printout of the online application form.
  • Candidates should fill up the application form very carefully. Once you have submitted your application, no request for the change in name, discipline, exam center name, date of birth, father’s name, email ID, mobile number, gender, DOB, examination medium, category, etc. will be entertained by the respective authority.
  • Candidates are restricted to apply in online mode as there are no other modes of application submission available.
  • Suppose, you have submitted multiple applications then your latest one will be considered.
  • All parts of the application form should be filled by candidates very carefully.
  • Keep a print out of your filled application form for future reference.

Documents/Information Should be ready before Beginning the Online Application Process

Please keep the following documents/information ready before you start the online application procedure:

  • ARS and NET combined notification.
  • Your name as specified in the secondary level entrance certificate.
  • Correspondence certificate.
  • Your permanent address.
  • Father’s name, as you were mentioned in the secondary level exam.
  • Class 10th or its equivalent certificate.
  • Master’s degree related documents such as provisional/degree certificate/mark sheets /transcript (if available).
  • Doctorate degree related documents.
  • Exam center list.
  • Scanned copy of your recently taken passport size photograph. The photograph should be taken against White background/ Talking about the maximum size of the same should be 150 kb and it should be in .jpg format.
  • Scanned copy of the signature. You need to put your signature on a white paper by using the black/blue ink. The signature should be in .jpg format.
  • Credit card/debit card details for the fee payment.
  • Genuine and working email ID.

Note: Please be careful enough while entering data in your application form. Do not provide wrong information as it may lead to cancellation of your candidature.

Application Fee

The authority has specified the application fee in following ways:

  • Rs. 1000/- for General Category Applicants;
  • Rs. 500/- for OBC category applicants;
  • Rs. 250 for candidates of SC/ST/Woman/Divyang category;

Candidates can make payment of the application fee using credit card/debit card/NEFT. The additional charges will be borne by candidates only.

Candidates, willing to apply for ARS along with ASRB NET exam then application fee for them is designed in the following way:

  • Rs. 1500 for Unreserved/General
  • Rs. 1000 for OBC
  • Rs. 250 for SC/ST/Women/Divyang category candidates

The amount can be paid through online as well as offline mode. In online mode, the payment can be made by using credit card/debit card/net banking, whereas, the payment can be made through challan in offline mode.
