Sri Venkateswara University will conduct Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) on behalf of APSCHE. AP PGECET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for AP PGECET 2022 examination are explained below.

Nationality

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Nativity

• Aspirants must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana and must meet the local /non-local status requirements.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks (45% for unreserved categories) from an AICTE / UGC approved institution. Aspirants should have passed all subjects during graduation.
• Those aspirants who are pursuing a B. Tech or its equivalent / B. Pharm. courses shall be eligible for an entry into the relevant M. Tech./ M. Pharmacy/ Pharm.D (PB) courses provided they have completed the prescribed course and passed all subjects for the award of a degree.
• Candidates with valid GPAT and GATE score are also eligible for admission.

AP PGECET 2022 Application Form

The application form for AP PGECET has been released in online mode only. Those who want to apply need to access the application form through the official website sche.ap.gov.in. The complete process of AP PGECET 2022 is explained below.

• The first step of the application process is the payment of application fee. Interested candidates can either visit AP Online center to pay the fee or make an application fee payments online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.
• Then, candidates have to check their application fee payment status. Please note that a payment ID will be generated only after the successful application fee payment.
• After that, aspirants can access the main application form.
• In the main application form, candidates will be asked to provide their accurate educational, personal, and contact details.
• In addition to the details, aspirants have to upload scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
• The details entered in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, authorities can cancel your candidature.
• It is recommended to take a printout of the application form submitted for future references.

Application Fee

• For SC/ ST: Rs. 500/-
• For other candidates: Rs. 1000/-

Note: In addition to application fees, a processing charge of Rs. 29.50/- will also be applicable.

AP PGECET 2022 Admit card

• Once application form submission process gets completed, the exam conducting authority will release AP PGECET 2022 admit cards.
• Admit cards or hall tickets will be made available online through the official website.
• In order to download a hall ticket, candidates have to provide their registration number, date of birth, and exam paper for the entrance test.
• The hall ticket is a very important document and no candidate will be allowed to take the exam without carrying a valid hall ticket at the examination centre.
• It is advised to keep the hall ticket safe even after the exam as it will be required at the time of admission.

AP PGECET 2022 Answer key

• Soon after the exam, the university will release AP PGECET preliminary answer keys.
• By using answer keys, candidates may check and get a rough idea about the marks they are going to score in the entrance exam.
• Candidates may also submit objections against preliminary answer keys if they are not satisfied with the same.
• After considering all objections, the final answer keys will be released by the authority.
• The result will be prepared on the basis of final answer keys.

AP PGECET 2022 Result

• The result of AP PGECET 2022 examination will be published online through the official website only.
• To check their result, candidates have to provide their registration number and PGECET hall ticket number.
• Along with the result, the university will also release a rank card on the official website.
• Please note that ranks will be allotted to candidates based on their performance in the entrance test.

Qualifying marks

• The minimum qualifying marks for getting a rank in the AP PGECET 2022 examination is 25% i.e. 30 marks out of 120.
• Please note that there are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ ST candidates.
• Candidates obtaining less than minimum qualifying marks as per their categories will not get any rank.

AP PGECET 2022 Counselling

• Those shortlisted candidates who will clear the AP PGECET examination will be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
• To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to register separately and pay the required counselling fee.
• It is also compulsory to get documents verified during counselling.
• At the time of counselling, candidates will be asked to provide their choice of course and college in which they want to study.
• The allotment of seats will take place based on marks secured by candidates in the entrance exam and choice filled during counselling.
