Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Tirupati conducts AP LAWCET 2023 for providing admission to 3 year and 5 year LLB courses and 2 year LLM course for the academic session 2023-2024. The full form of AP LAWCET is AP law common entrance test.

Candidates can apply for AP LAWCET 2023 through online mode only. Based on their eligibility, the interested candidates can apply for 3 year LLB or 5 year LLB courses or 2 year LLM course.

AP LAWCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below in order to appear for AP LAWCET 2023:

Nationality & Domicile:

The candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy Local/ non-local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974.

Educational qualification:

  • For 3-year LLB course: The candidates who have passed a graduate degree from a recognized university with 45% marks (42% marks for OBC candidates and 40% marks for SC/ ST candidates) are eligible to apply.
  • For 5-year LLB course: A pass in class 12th exam from a recognized board scoring not less than 45% marks (42% marks for OBC candidates and 40% marks for SC/ ST candidates) in aggregate is required.

AP LAWCET 2023 Application Form

The candidates can fill the application form for AP LAWCET 2023 through online mode. Application forms will be made available on the official website www.sche.ap.gov.in.

  • At first, the candidates will have to make payment of the registration fee. After successful payment, the candidates can proceed with application form.
  • In the application form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal details such as name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, etc.
  • Other details such as those related to education, address, exam center, etc should also be provided into the application form.
  • Candidates also need to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature into the application form.
  • Duly filled application form can then be submitted online by the candidates on or before the last date.
  • It is advised that the candidates should take a printout of the application form after its submission and keep it safe for future reference.

  • The application fee for AP LAWCET 2023 is expected to be Rs. 750/-.
  • Candidates can make payment of application fee either online by debit card/ credit card/ net banking or using cash via AP online center.

Answer: If any candidate secured less than 45% in graduation he should have passed any additional graduate or postgraduate degree with 45% aggregate marks to be eligible for AP LAWCET.

Question: My amount got deducted but the application fee payment status shows pending. What should I do now?

Answer: In case your account is debited and you get message “Payment Details Not Found”, you need to make a fresh payment. The amount for the failure transaction will be refunded to your bank account in 7 to 10 working days.

Question: How can I get the exam center of my choice?

Answer: You will be able to provide your choice for exam center at the time of filling the application form.

Question: What if I am having trouble in downloading my rank card?

Answer: In case of the any difficulty in downloading the rank card the candidates are advised to contact the Convener’s office.

Answer: No admit card will be sent to the candidates via offline mode like post or courier. Admit cards will only be available online.

AP LAWCET 2023 Result

  • AP LAWCET 2023 result will be declared online and the rank card of the qualified candidates will also be released by the authorities.
  • The rank card will be published around one week after the declaration of the result.
  • Ranking of the candidates will be done on the basis of their marks in the entrance test.
