AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2021

AP EAMCET Eligibility criteria 2021 corresponds to the basic requirements that candidates must fulfill in order to appear for the exam. The exam will be conducted for admission into UG programs of Engineering, Medical and Agriculture offered by the different institution in Andhra Pradesh. Candidate will be given admission if they satisfy the AP EAMCET eligibility criteria 2021. AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2021

A candidate must be an Indian citizen or PIO/OCI card holder to be eligible for the exam.

Domicile/Nativity

A candidate must belong to Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana and should satisfy the local/non-local status requirements of the state.

Educational Qualification

Qualifying Examination:

 A candidate should have passed class 12th or its equivalent as conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

OR

A candidate should have passed the diploma examination in Engineering or Pharmacy (for Pharma.D course) or any other examination as recognized by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana

Subjects: A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as optional subjects or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering and Technology along with bridge course conducted by the respective Board for students enrolled from the year 2000 onwards.

Minimum Marks: A candidate opting Pharma.D course must have scored minimum 45% (40% for reserved category) in the subjects mentioned above.

Note: Candidates appearing in class 12th are also eligible to apply for AP EAMCET.

Age Criteria

For Engineering and Pharmacy course: A candidate must have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December 2019. However, there will be no upper limit for candidates enrolling into these programs.

For B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech (FS & T), and B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering): A candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2019. However, there is an upper age limit for these courses i.e. 22 years (25 years for SC/ST) for all candidates as on 31st December 2019.

For Pharma.D: A candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2020.

Quick Glimpse into the Application form

For the convenience of the candidates, we are providing key details of the AP EAMCET application form.   • The form will be available to candidates in the 3rd week of February 2021.
  • Candidates will need to submit the form in the last week of March 2021 without late fee.
  • Candidates will be provided a correction window of one week for editing/correcting details in the application form.
  • The AM EAMCET 2021 exam will be conducted in the last week of April 2021.
  • Applicants will need to deposit an application fee of Rs. 500/- either through online mode (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking) or through AP online/TS online respectively.
  • Applicants need not send the hard copy of the form to the officials.
  • Applicants are recommended to keep a printout of the form for future use.
