Andhra University Admission 2022-2023: UG & PG Admission

Andhra University is one of the oldest universities in India. It was established in the year 1926. The university offers 313 courses in the field of Arts, Commerce and Science etc. The admission to UG courses usually starts in the month of April every year. AUCET 2022 exam will be conducted by the University for Admission to most of the PG courses. Apart from AUCET, the university will also conduct exams like APICET, AP LAWCET and AURCET in order to provide admissions to its MBA, MCA, Law and research courses.

Andhra University Application form 2022

  • Eligible candidates can apply from the official website of Andhra University.
  • First of all, candidates have to register themselves using an email id. Then applicants have to fill all the necessary personal, educational details in the application form.
  • The scanned copy of passport size photo and signature also needs to be uploaded by the candidates.
  • The application fee is different for various courses.
  • The Candidates can pay the application fee using AP Online, e-seva, Credit card, Debit card or MeeSeva.

Andhra University Undergraduate Admission 2022

Andhra University offers numerous undergraduate courses in multiple disciplines like Fine Arts, Architecture, Engineering, and Education etc.

Eligibility Criteria

There are different eligibility criteria for different programmes as shown in the table below:

BFA/BPA Must have passed HSC or 10+2 exam from a recognized board
B.Arch. Must have passed HSC or 10+2 exam with Mathematics and English
B.Ed./LLB Candidate must be graduate from a recognized university
B.Tech/BE The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with physics, chemistry and Maths

 Selection Criteria

The selection criteria for different Undergraduate courses are as follows:

BFA and BPA program Candidates will be selected as per the performance in AUCET
B.Arch On the basis of Performance in NATA (at least 40% marks is required)
LLB On the basis of AP LAWCET exam
B.Tech/BE Admission will be granted as per AUEET entrance exam

Andhra University MBA & MCA Admission 2022

The Admission to MBA and MCA courses are provided as per candidate’s performance in APICET 2022 exam. This test will be consisting of 200 questions from the Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability.

The eligibility criteria for MBA and MCA admission are as follows:

MBA Candidate must be graduate from a recognized university
MCA Graduate degree in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects is mandatory

Andhra University M.Phil & Ph.D. Admission 2022

The university offers M.Phil and Ph.D. research courses in both Full-time and Part-time mode.  The admission will be granted on the basis of AURCET 2022 exam. AURCET 2022 will consist of two Papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1 will be common for all the subjects within a department. It will consist of 50 Mulitple Choice Questions and duration of exam will be 45 minutes.

Paper 2 will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions from the concerned subjects and duration of Paper 2 will be 90 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria

M.Phil/ Ph.D. The candidate must have a post graduation degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks.

Andhra University Reservation Criteria 2022

  • 85% of the total seats are reserved for the local candidates i.e. from the districts of Vizianagaram, Vishakhapatnam, West Godavari, East Godavari, Srikakulam, Krishna, Prakasam and Guntur.
  • 33% of total seats will be allotted to women candidates only.
  • SC candidates will get the reservation 15%.
  • 6% seats are reserved for ST candidates.
  • Listed Backward classes will get a 29% reservation.
