Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria should be fulfilled by the candidates applying for Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2023:

  • The candidates should be of Indian Nationality and should satisfy the Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh EducationalInstitutions (Regulation of admission) Order, 1974.
  • The candidate should have passed or appeared for the intermediate examination (class 12th) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • The candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).
  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st September of the year ofadmission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed course.

Note:The candidates who passed Intermediate with Vocational Courses are not eligible.

Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2023 Application Form

The candidates will be able to fill their Andhra Pradesh DEECET application form 2023 though online mode. They can obtain the application form by visiting the official website www.apdeecet.apcfss.in. It is suggested that the candidates read the information bulletin carefully before applying for the exam.

  • At first the candidates will have to fill a registration form and make submission of application fee.
  • After this, the candidates can log in to their account and start filling their application form.
  • The candidates will have to provide their personal, academic, contact and other details into the application form.
  • Candidates’ photograph and signature in scanned format should also be uploaded in the application form.
  • Candidates should make sure to not enter any incorrect information in the application form or else it will be rejected.

Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2023 Admit Card

  • The successfully registered candidates will be able to download their Andhra Pradesh DEECET admit card 2023 from official website.
  • Candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it with them while appearing for the exam.
  • No candidate under any condition will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.
  • Important details related to the exam such as center address, date, time, etc will be communicated to the candidates through the admit card.

Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2023 Counseling

  • On the basis of rank of the candidates, their merit will be decided and a list will be prepared.
  • Counselingof the qualified candidates will be conducted as per their names in the merit list.

  • Seats will be allotted to the candidates according to their choice and merit, subject to availability of seats.

  1. What subject group should I choose for appearing in D.El.Ed exam?

Candidates should select their subject group for appearing in the entrance test according to the following rule:

  • Mathematics- Those who studied Mathematics as a subject at Intermediate level
  • Physical Science- Those who studied Physics & Chemistry as subjects at Intermediate level
  • Biological Science- Those who studied Botany & Zoology as subjects at Intermediate level
  • Social Studies- Those who studied any of two subjects out of Civics, Economics, History, Geography and Commerce at Intermediate level
  1. In case I am not able to download my admit card, what should I do?

  1. Will the authority send my rank card through post or courier?

The rank card of the candidates will be uploaded on the official websites as mentioned above and will not be sent by any other means such as post or courier.

  1. Where will the D.El.Ed entrance exams conducted?

Entrance exam shall be conducted in all the 13 districts of the Andhra Pradesh state. Candidate can choose any district of his/ her choice for appearing in online examination.Tamil medium candidates should write the test in Chittoor district headquarters only.
