Office of the Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada is the authority that will release the official notification for Andhra Pradesh ANM 2024. Age Limit

  • The age of a candidate should be more than 17 years as of 31st December 2024.
  • Please note that the upper age limit is 30 years.
  • A relaxation of 5 years will be given to the candidates from SC/ ST/ BC categories.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed intermediate (10+2) from any stream from a recognized board of education.

Those candidates who are looking to apply need to download the application form from the official website and submit the same in offline mode. The process of application form submission is explained below.

  • To start the application form submission, candidates have to visit the official website i.e. http://cfw.ap.nic.in.
  • Aspirants have to locate and download the application form from the official website of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare.
  • After downloading the application form, candidates need to fill the same in neat and clean handwriting.
  • Aspirants must ensure that they enter authentic details in the application form. Otherwise, their candidature may get rejected.
  • Candidates also need to affix their photograph on the application form.
  • After filling the application form, aspirants need to submit the same to the concerned DM&HOs in the district where in the institute is located for admission in respect of Govt./ Grant-in-aid/ Private ANM course institutions along with photocopies of the following documents.
    • SSC certificate
    • Intermediate certificate
    • Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST/BCs)
    • Residential Certificate/ Study Certificate from 4th to 10th class
    • Registration fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) by way of D.D. in favour of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, A.P., Amaravathi payable at Hyderabad. Remember, there is no registration fee for BC/ SC/ ST candidates.
  • It is recommended that candidates should keep a copy of the application form submitted for future requirements.

Application Fee

The amount as application fees to be paid for candidates from different categories are as follows.

  • General Candidates: Rs. 50/-
  • BC/ SC/ ST Candidates: Nil (Exempted from the application fee)

Mode of payment: The application fees should be paid in the form of a DD to be drawn in favour of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, A.P., Amaravathi payable at Hyderabad.

Andhra Pradesh ANM 2024 Selection process

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam.
  • Please note that there will not be any entrance exam for the selection of candidates.
  • Please note that out of the total seats 40% are called “Management Seats” and the rest 60% seats are called “Free Seats”.

Result and Merit List

  • The selection list (Merit list) will be published on the official website once the application form submission process gets over.
  • The merit list or rank list will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination.
  • While creating the merit list, candidates who pass under the compartmental system will be placed after candidates who passed in a single attempt.
  • Candidates then need to visit the allotted institute on the stipulated date to complete the rest of the admission process.

  3. What can be done to get intermediate bridge course certificate (i.e.certificate for MPHW & BiPC)if we had done
    mphw(without Bridgecourse i.e.,not done BIPC ,only given mphw from board of intermediate education,AP) n if someone had done only MPHW(F) course ( not bridge course) ,are they eligible for only ANM or any bachelor courses?
