AMIE 2021 (Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers) is a national level entrance exam for engineering which conducts twice in the year i.e. AMIE winter exam and AMIE summer exam. AMIE is a distance education course that gives Degree and Diploma programme in engineering. Generally, AMIE exam is designed for two disciplines that are Non Diploma Stream (technician members) and Diploma Stream (Senior Technician Members) individually. AMIE 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have completed 18 years of age.
- In order to appear in AMIE 2021 candidates should be passed 12th examination with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
- They must be employing as an engineer by profession under a corporate member
- The aspirant must be working towards obtaining qualifications for corporate memberships
- They must have qualified in a diploma examination in engineering and technology or equivalent examination.
AMIE 2021 application form: How to apply
Candidates can avail the AMIE 2021 Application form probably in the month of March 2021 after the payment of Rs 2000.
AMIE 2021 application process
- Candidates can apply online by going through the official website of institute i.e. www.ieindia.org and here they can check application forms – one for postal coaching and other for AMIE membership.
- The applicants need to fill up the both the application form accurately, paste latest photographs and put signature in the required fields along with the application attach attested copies of important documents as per the need of admissions conducting Institute
- The documents must be attested from Gazette officer
- The application form should be sent along with a demand draft of Rs 2000 drawn in favor of ‘The Institution of Engineers (India)’ payable at Kolkata to the following address –The Institute of Engineers,

AMIE 2021 Examination Pattern:
AMIE 2021 Exam will be conduct from June 2021. Applicants who are going to appear in exam can check its pattern below:-
The time duration of AMIE for each paper will 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes
Maximum number of paper applicant can appear at a time is:
- Section – A (non-diploma stream): 5 papers
- Section – A (diploma stream): 3 papers
- Section – B: 5 papers
AMIE 2021 Result
AMIE Result will be announced in third week of September, 2021.
Candidate can check their AMIE result by following steps:
- Candidate need to visit the official website- www.ieindia.org
- Now check the result under academics section.
- Select exam result option for AIME Exam from “A and B exam”.
- Applicants can check their result online by entering membership in the downloading window.
- Candidates can save and take out the print of the result for further reference.
- The marks will be measured by calculation of both the test taken together.
