Ambedkar University Delhi Admission 2021-2022: PG, BA, Phd & M.Phil Admission

The Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) formerly known as Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University offers different undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. The university offers these courses in various specializations that the candidates can choose as per their interest. The application forms can be filled online through the official Ambedkar University website. The university follows different guidelines to provide admission in UG, PG and Doctoral courses. 85% of the total seats are reserved for students from the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Ambedkar University Delhi PG Admission 2021

1. Course name: MBA

• Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks. The appearing candidates can also apply, given that their results will be out before 31^st August 2021.
• Selection Criteria: The selection is provided on the basis of marks secured in the written test followed by an interview

2. Course name: MA

• Specialization: English, History, Development Studies, Law, Politics and Society, Literary Art Creative Thinking, Social Entrepreneurship, Economics, Environmental and Development, Gender Studies, Psychology, Visual Art Practice, Sociology, Performance Studies, Film Studies and Education (Early Childhood Care and Education)
• Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks.
• Selection Criteria: The selection is based on entrance test score followed by an interview.
• The candidates applying for MA in Social Entrepreneurship will have to submit a 300-word Statement of Purpose (SOP) along with the application form.

3. Course name: M.Des.

• Specialization: Social Design
• Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks.
• Selection Criteria: Based on entrance test score followed by an interest proposal, situation test and interview.

Ambedkar University Delhi BA Admission 2021

1. Course name: BA (H)

• Specialization: Economics, Social Sciences and Humanities, Sociology, English, History, Mathematics and Psychology
• Eligibility Criteria: The applicant should have passed 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Selection Criteria: Admission is done on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying examination.

Note:

• For BA (H) in English, the student must have obtained a minimum of 65% in English in the class 12^th
• For BA (H) in Mathematics, the student should have obtained a minimum of 60% in Mathematics.
• For BA (H) in Economics and Mathematics, the marks obtained in Mathematics in the XII Board Examination must be included in the calculation of the aggregate of the best four subjects in the class 12^th

Ambedkar University Delhi Admission 2021: Ph.D. and M.Phil

1. Course name: Ph.D.

• Specialization: Women and Gender Studies, History, Human Ecology, Film Studies, Literary Art, Mathematics, Psychology, Visual Arts, Comparative Literature and Translation Studies, Development Studies, English and Hindi
• Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree in the related discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Physically Disabled candidates) is required.
• Selection Criteria: The selection is provided on the basis of the research proposal, written test and interview.
• For Ph.D. in Psychology, the research proposal should be of 2500 words.

2. Course name: M.Phil

• Specialization: Mathematics, Development Practice, Hindi, Comparative Literature and Translation Studies, History, Women & Gender Studies and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
• Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree in the related discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Physically Disabled candidates) is required.
• Selection Criteria: The selection is provided on the basis of the research proposal, written test and interview.
• For M.Phil in Mathematics, candidates must submit a 500-word SOP.

Application Process

The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply to the university by filling the application form. The applicant will have to register themselves using a valid email id. After filling the form correctly and paying the application fee, the candidate can successfully submit the application form.
