The UPCET 2022 application form will release in the 1st week of April 2022 in online mode. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University abbreviated as AKTU is the most popular technical university in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate professional degree courses in the field of engineering, management etc. The candidates aspiring for UPCET 2022 admission have to clear the entrance exam to be conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency). The university will conduct 11 papers under AKTU 2022 entrance exam for admission to different courses.

UPCET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria for AKTU 2022 depend upon the course for which you are going to apply.

Nativity:

  • For AKTU admission the candidates must have passed qualifying exam from UP or the parents of candidate should be domicile of UP. However, there is 10% quota seats available for candidates from outside of UP.

Educational Qualification for Undergraduate Course

  • For Undergraduate courses, the candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) except for B.Arch.
  • The subject combination required at 10+2 for different courses are as follows:

  • Any graduate with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) can apply.
  • The candidate must have studied Mathematics at graduation or 10+2 level.

UPCET Application Form 2022

The complete details related to the UPCET application process 2022 are given below.

  • The application form for AKTU 2022 admission will be published online through the official website of NTA http://upcet.nta.nic.in.
  • The date of release of online application is expected to be in the month of April 2022.
  • All the necessary educational and personal details will require to be filled in the application form.
    • Personal Details – Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Date of birth, etc.
    • Contact Details – Email address, Phone number, Communication Address, Permanent Address, etc.
    • Educational Details – Year of passing qualifying exam, name of the qualifying exam, marks secured, name and address of the school/ institute, etc.
  • The candidates have to upload the scanned copies of recent passport size photograph and signature in the application form.
    • Scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (file size: 10 kb – 200 kb) in JPG/JPEG format
    • Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
    • PwD candidates are to upload the Medical Certificate as applicable
  • The application form will be considered complete only after the payment of application fee.

Note: There will be no requirement of sending hardcopy of application form to the university/ NTA office.

Application fee:

The AKTU 2022 application fee will be paid online by using a credit card, debit card, or net banking through HDFC Bank/ SBI/ PayTM Payment Gateway. The application fees for different categories are given below:

AKTU Admit Card 2022

  • The candidates have to download the UPCET admit card 2022 from the official website of the NTA.
  • The university will not send admit card by post, the downloaded admit card will be considered valid at the exam venue.
  • Every candidate has to carry a valid admit card at the examination center along with one photo ID proof.
  • Candidates should check the details mentioned on the AKTU 2022 admit card and contact the authorities immediately in case of any discrepancy.
  • Keep the UPCET 2022 Admit Card safe even after the exam because it is required at the time of the exam.

UPCET Result 2022

  • The result as well as the UPCET merit list 2022 for the AKTU 2022 admission will be declared on the official website.

AKTU Counseling 2022

  • The candidates who will score equal to or more than the qualify marks in the AKTU 2022 exam will be called for AKTU 2022 counseling on the basis of their ranks.
  • During the counselling process, candidates will have to provide the choice of colleges and courses in which they want to study.
  • All the documents will be verified at the time of counseling, so it will be mandatory for every candidate to carry original document while reporting for the counseling.
  • The allotment of seats will be done strictly on the basis of rank obtained by the candidates.

Note: There is a 15% management quota in every private college under AKTU. The admission to these seats will be done as per the rules of particular college.

Question – 1: Is it possible to submit the UPCET 2022 application form in offline mode?

Answer: No, it is not possible to submit the application form offline. All candidates need to submit the application form in online mode only.

Question – 2: What documents do I need to carry at the time of the examination?

Answer: Candidates are advised to carry only the following with them into the Examination venue:

  • Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
  • A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
  • Additional photograph, to be pasted on Attendance Sheet
  • Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
  • Personal transparent water bottle.
  • ID Proof
  • Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic

Question – 3: I am not satisfied with the UPCET exam center 2022 allotted to me? 

Answer: No, any to change the exam center, date and time provided on the admit card shall not be considered under any circumstances.

Question – 4: Can I get the UPCET application fee back in case I don’t want to get admission?

Answer: No request for refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.
