AIPVT Counselling 2021: Schedule, Procedure, Admission

AIPVT Counselling Process 2021 will be held for allotting the candidates seats into different veterinary colleges offering B.V.Sc & A.H. course. Candidates can apply for the online counseling on the basis of their NEET UG score. Interested candidates who also meet the eligibility criteria can register online to participate in the counseling and seat allotment process. The process of registration and choice filling is expected to begin from the month of July 2021. Different rounds of counseling will be held based on the number of available seats.

Important Instructions

  • Details regarding counseling will be made available on the official website. No separate intimation will be sent to the candidates individually.
  • Candidates who fail to register for counseling within the stipulated time will not be eligible for seat allotment.
  • While exercising choices for colleges, candidate can interchange their opted choices number of times but only till they lock the choices.
  • A copy of the application form and of locked choices should be taken and kept safe by the candidates.
  • Details of the colleges participating in the counseling process will be uploaded on the website of the Council.

AIPVT Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2021

The candidates following the eligibility criteria will be considered for AIPVT Counselling Process 2021:

  • Nationality: Candidates of Indian nationality and Overseas Citizen of India/ Person of Indian Origin are eligible to apply.
  • Age limit: The minimum and maximum age of the candidates as on 31st December 2021 should be 17 years and 25 years respectively. A relaxation of 5 years is given to the candidates belonging to OBC/ SC/ ST category candidates.
  • Essential qualification: A pass in class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English scoring 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects is required. A valid score in NEET UG 2021 is also required.

Detailed Counseling Process

  • Counseling for B.V.Sc & A.H. course will be done through online mode and college will be allotted to the candidates according to their choice and availability of seat.
  • Interested and eligible candidates need to fill an online registration form and provide their choice for college in which they seek admission.
  • Now based on the information provided in the application form, seats will be allotted to the candidates.
  • The information provided along with the important documents will be verified at the time of reporting to the allotted institute.
  • The seats once allocated shall be final and there will be no change or any re-allocation of seat.
  • The candidate once allocated a seat will not be considered for further rounds of counseling.
  • In case any seats remain vacant after all rounds of counseling, one mop up round of counseling will be conducted.
  • Under mop up round, seats will be allotted provisionally to the candidate according to the choice made at the time of registration.

Online registration fee:

  • Registration fee for AIPVT counseling 2021 will be Rs. 1000/- for General/ OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
  • Payment of fees can be done online using debit card/ credit card.

Declaration of Result

  • Result of the seat allotment and counseling process will be displayed on the official website
  • Candidates will be able to download the result from the website that will contain the details of allotted college.
  • The candidates then need to report to the allotted institute to complete the formalities of admission.
  • Those who fail to secure their seats within the provided time limit will forfeit their seat and lose their candidature.

Important Documents

The candidates who report for admission at the allotted institute should carry the following documents with them in original and photocopy:

  • VCI counseling registration confirmation page
  • NEET UG Application Form 2021
  • NEET UG 2021 Admit Card
  • NEET UG 2021 Rank Card
  • Any one of the ID proof as mentioned in NEET application form
  • Date of Birth Certificate
  • Secondary School Examination Certificate or equivalent
  • 10+2 Mark Sheet
  • 10+2 Certificate or Provisional Certificate (Provisional Certificate is permissible for candidates passing in the year 2021)
  • Character Certificate from the School last attended
  • Six passport size and one postcard colored photographs (same as uploaded on the NEET application form)
  • OCI/ PIO card issued by the appropriate authority, if applicable
  • Equivalency certificate from AIU should be produced, for students educated abroad
  • Category certificate, for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates
  • Disability certificate of the candidate from an authorized Medical Board
