AIPVT 2023: Application Form, Online Registration, Important Dates

AIPVT 2023 stands for All Indian Pre-Veterinary Test. Please note that this examination is now replaced with NEET. Through this admission process, candidates can get admission to B.V.Sc. and A.H courses. The admission process is managed by the Veterinary Council of India. There will not be any entrance test. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the NEET UG examination. Those who want to apply for AIPVT 2023 need to fill and submit the application form in online mode. AIPVT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

It is the responsibility of aspiring candidates to ensure that they meet the required eligibility criteria in order to apply. Please note that application forms of ineligible candidates will be summarily rejected. The eligibility criteria for AIPVT 2023 are as follows.

Nationality

• The candidate should be a citizen of India

Age Limit

• The age of a candidate should not be less than 17 years as of 31^st December 2023.
• No aspirant should be older than 25 years as of 31^st December 2023.

Note: Candidates from SC/ ST categories will get a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

Qualifying Examination

• Candidates must have passed the class 12^th or equivalent examination recognized AIU.
• Aspirants should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English subjects at the class 12^th

Qualifying Marks

• Applicants must have scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Biology/ Biotechnology, English and Chemistry subjects.

Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir

• Those candidates who belong to the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible under 15% All India Quote (AIQ)

AIPVT Application Form 2023

The application form for AIPVT 2023 will be released in online mode only. Those interested candidates who are looking to apply need to fill and submit the application form through the official website. The complete process of the AIPVT application form submission is explained in the following points.

• To start the process of application form submission you need to visit the official website.
• On the official website, you have to register by providing your basic details such as email ID and phone number.
• After registration, you will receive your login credentials on your phone number and email ID.
• Next, you have to sign in and access the main application form.
• In the application form, you have to provide your complete educational, personal, and contact details.
• The details entered in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, the application form can get rejected.
• Along with the details, it is compulsory for aspirants to upload scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
• After submitting the application form, candidates also need to pay the necessary application fee.
• It is recommended to take a printout of the application form submitted for future requirements.

Application Fee

The application fees for AIPVT 2023 are as follows.

• General Category candidates: Rs. 1000/-
• SC/ ST/ PH candidates: Rs. 500/-

Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

AIPVT 2023 Selection Process

• The selection of candidates will be based on NEET UG 2023 merit list.
• There will not be an entrance test, authorities will choose candidates based on their performance in the NEET examination.
• The admission will be offered in the A.H courses and B.V.Sc. Courses.
• Only those candidates will get admission who will secure a good rank in the NEET examination.

Counselling

• The counselling process of AIPVT 2023 admission will take place in online mode only.
• During the counselling process, candidates will be asked to provide the choice of veterinary college and course in which they want to study.
• The allocation of seats will take place on the basis of rank secured by candidates and choice filled by them during the counselling process.
• It is compulsory for all candidates to get their documents verified in order to get the allotment letter.
• The counselling process may take place in multiple rounds depending upon the availability of seats.

AIPVT 2023 Admission

• After the counselling process, candidates have to visit the allocated colleges.
• It is compulsory for candidates to carry allotment letter and other important documents while visiting the allotted college.
• Students must reach the college on time otherwise they might lose their seats under 15% all India quota.
• Authorities will verify the documents of all the candidates at the college as well. The seat will be confirmed only after document verification and payment of admission fee.
