AIPGDEE (All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination) 2022 will be organized by AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) in the month of December, 2021 (tentative) for admission to Ministry of Health & FW/DCI recognized/ permitted/ approved MDS seats of dental colleges. MDS programme is a three years duration course and candidates having BDS degree and registration from any State Dental Council or Dental Council of India are only eligible to apply for this test. Minimum Eligibility Criteria for AIPGDEE 2022
Check out below the minimum eligibility criteria required for admission to MDS programme through AIPGDEE test:
- Indian Citizens/Overseas Citizen of India/Person of Indian Origin are eligible to apply.
- Candidates should hold their registration with any State Dental Council or Dental Council of India (DCI). They will be asked to submit the necessary proof regarding the same at the time of admission.
- After completion of the BDS or the foreign dental degree (should be recognized by DCI/GOI), candidates should have undergone through 12 months compulsory practical training/rotating internship and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2022. It is essential for candidates to obtain the provisional or permanent registration on or before March 31, 2022.
- Candidates those have cleared BDS programme from an institution belonging to Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible to apply for the test.

How to Apply?
Fill up the AIPGDEE 2022 application form by going through the guidelines we are illustrating in this article:
- Application form will be filled in online mode.
- Applicants can remit the application fee through net banking, debit card or credit card or through SBI bank challan.
- Major information you’ll be asked to enter in the application form are your name father’s name, category, date of birth, nationality, communication details etc.
- Thereafter, it will be also necessary to upload the signature and photograph in the mentioned format.
- Application form will be available at the official website in the month of October, 2021.
Exam Pattern

- Duration of the test: 3 Hours (10:00 Am to 01:00 PM)
Marking Scheme
- For incorrect answer: +4 marks
- For correct answer: -1 marks
- Unanswered question: Zero marks
* If you have answered more than one answer for one question then it will be considered as wrong answer and 1 mark will be deducted for the same.
Admit Card
Candidates, whose applications are accepted by the respective authority, admit card will be issued for them only. Admit card will be downloaded from the official website from November, 2016 onwards. While downloading the admit cad, you’ll be asked to enter your application number and date of birth.
AIPGDEE 2022 Result
It is expected that the AIPGDEE result for the year 2022 will be declared in the month of January, 2022. Only those candidates will be able to view their result who have scored the minimum qualifying marks. Thereafter, the respective authority will release rank letter of candidates before beginning of counseling process. Candidates are required to download the rank list from the official website as it won’t be sent through post.
Cut off score: 50% (for General category candidates) & 40% (for OBC/SC/ST category candidates)
*There is no any provision of re-checking or re-evaluation of the answer sheets.
Counseling Details
AIPGDEE 2022 counseling process will be organized by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for allotment of MDS seats. Counseling process will be organized in online mode and candidates will be allotted seats according to their score in the test.
