AIHMCT WAT 2022 application form has been released now. Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Bangalore is the respective authority organizing Written Admission Test (WAT) for admission to its BHM programmes in Hotel Management. The test is going to be organized on 29th May 2022 and yes, you may obtain its application form from 26th February 2022.

AIHMCT WAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

First Criteria

Candidates should fulfil one of the following conditions:

• Children of Army persons who have been serving the Army continuously from last 10 years.
• Children of those Ex-Army persons are eligible who have received the discharge after completion of 10 years of service.
• Children of Ex-Army persons approved/awarded liberalized family pension, regular pension, disability pension or family pension at the time of their superannuation, discharge, demise, release medical board/ invalided medical board.

Second Criteria (Educational Qualification)

Aspirants who have cleared class 12^th or its equivalent test with English as one of the compulsory subjects are permitted to apply. Class 12^th appearing candidates are allowed to apply in case they can submit the necessary documents before the deadline. Admission of appearing candidates will be provisional until they submit the required documents.

Third Criteria (Age Criteria)

Age of aspirants should not exceed 22 years as on 1^st July 2022.

Fourth Criteria (Physical Fitness)

Candidates must meet with physical fitness norms as prescribed by the authority.

How to Apply for AIHMCT WAT 2022?

Candidates can obtain the AIHMCT WAT prospectus cum application form with the payment of Rs.1000/- in the form of demand draft. The demand draft should be obtained in favour of the Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHM & CT)”, payable at Bangalore. Aspirants are also permitted to download the prospectus cum application form from the official website i.e. www.aihmctbangalore.com or they can obtain it by hand from college/ Army HQ (AWES)/ Command HQs (AWES) by making payment through demand draft.

Exam Pattern

• AIHMCT WAT 2022 will be organized in the month of April 2022.
• It’ll be an objective test.
• There will be four parts in the exam and they are Reasoning and logical deduction, General Knowledge, Command and test of English language, Numerical ability and scientific aptitude.

AIHMCT WAT 2022 Admit Card & Attendance

Candidates will receive their respective admit card via post to their registered address. If you couldn’t receive your admit card before the provided deadline then you can contact the concerned authority either through phone or mail immediately. In case your admit card has lost or misplaced then you either need to inform the respective authority or contact the Presiding Officer at the WAT Centre personally for further instructions.

Attendance card can be received from the Officer-In-Charge of the Examination Centre chosen by the candidate.

WAT 2022 Result and Selection Procedure

On the basis of candidates’ performance in WAT 2022, the merit list will be prepared. According to your rank in the merit list, you’ll be further called for attending the counselling procedure. During counselling procedure, qualified candidates will be allotted seats according to their performance in the exam and eligibility criteria.

Counselling Procedure

According to the applicants’ performance in the written admission test they will be further invited to attend the counselling procedure. Final selection of applicants would be based on their performance in the written admission test followed by personal interview. The first top 60 rankers will receive an offer of admission.
