AIFD 2021: Army Institute of Fashion Design

AIFD 2021: Army Institute of Fashion Design (AIFD) will invite applications from eligible candidates for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate Fashion design courses. Candidates belonging to an army family can apply for the written entrance exam after the release of online applications.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should fulfill the required eligibility criteria before appearing in the entrance exam. The eligibility conditions for AIFD are the following:

• Applicants, who are wards or children of army personnel and retired personnel, are eligible to apply for admissions in Army Institute of Fashion Design, Bangalore.
• To get admission in undergraduate courses, candidates should have done 10+2 examination from any of the recognized institute of India with at least 35% marks.
• For PG programme admissions, candidates must qualified graduation with 35% marks from a recognized university.

AIFD 2021 Application Form: How to apply

The application form for AIFD Bangalore admission can be downloaded from the official website of authority i.e. www.aifdonline.in. Applicants can also obtain the application form in-person from the counter office of AIFD, Bangalore. Candidates are required to fill application form carefully with accurate details and submit the duly filled form on or before due date. Candidates who fill up application form via online are required to send it below address along with Demand Draft of Rs 550/- drawn in favor of Army Institute of Fashion & Design, payable at Bangalore.

Apart from Demand Draft, no other payment mode such as Cheque, Money order, challan, Postal order etc will be entertained.

Admit card

The admit card for AIFD written entrance test will be issued by “Registered Post” on the address given by candidates. The admit card will contain important details of test like candidate name, exam time and date, examination hall venue etc. candidates have to bring their admit card while appearing in the entrance test.

Exam pattern

• The duration of exam will be three hours
• Paper will contain question from intelligence and reasoning, general awareness.
• The test will be for hundred marks.
• There will be no negative marking in the exam.
• The entrance test will be conducted in English language only.

Admission Process

The selection of candidates to fashion design courses at Army Institute of fashion design will be done on the basis of marks obtained in written Entrance test (WAT).
