AIAPGET 2022: Exam Date (out), Admit Card (soon), Application Form (Over), Exam Date

The candidates who are looking to make their career in the field of Ayurveda and medicine can apply for the Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test 2022 or AIAPGET 2022. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct this test to select the candidates for admission into various PG courses in the field of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. Some of the courses available through this exam are MD, MS, and PG Diploma. The application process for AIAPGET 2022 has been started from 25th July 2022. Aspiring candidates should note that apart from AIAPGET, authorities will not conduct any other exam for admission into AYUSH courses.

Latest: AIAPGET 2022 exam will be conducted on 15th October 2022.

AIAPGET 2022 application form is now available from 25th July 2022.

AIAPGET 2022 Main Highlights

• Although NTA will conduct this exam, it has no role in conducting the counselling process.
• Application form can be submitted only through the online mode. NTA is not going to release any printed application form.
• The candidates who are already pursuing any PG course need not apply for the AIAPGET 2022 exam.
• Aspirant should check every eligibility criterion very carefully because the application fee is non-refundable.
• Aadhar card is not mandatory in order to apply for this exam.
• The result of AIAPGET 2022 exam is valid for admission to the session 2022-23 only.

Here are the important dates related to the AIAPGET 2022 examination.

AIAPGET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

As aspirant need to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below to apply for the AIAPGET Examination.

• A candidate must possess a BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/ Graded BHMS degree or a provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/ Graded BHMS pass certificate as per IMCC 1970/ HCC 1973 act.
• Additionally, permanent/ provisional registration certificate of BSMS/ BUMS/ BAMS/ Graded BHMS/ BHMS degree issued by a recognized university/ state board/ CCIM/ CCH/ deemed university is also compulsory.
• The aspiring candidate should complete/ likely to complete the compulsory 12 months internship before 30^th September 2022 or before the last date specified by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

Application Form

The NTA is going to release the AIAPGET Application Form 2022 only in online mode. Aspiring candidates have to visit the official website dedicated to AIAPGET i.e.www.ntaaiapget.nic.in. The process of application form submission has been started from 25th July 2022.

• To start the application process, the candidates first need to visit the NTA website for AIAPGET i.e. ntaaiapget.nic.in.
• On the official website, the aspirants have to register by entering some of their basic details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, email address, phone number, etc.
• After getting registered, the candidates may access the main application form where they have to enter the rest of the educational and personal details.
• The applicants have to choose four examination center cities while filling the details in an application form.
• Once the details are filled, the applicants have to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature in the application form. Please note that the photograph and signature should be in proper format as prescribed by the NTA.
• After entering all the mandatory details in the application form, the aspirants can submit the application form along with the necessary application fee.
• A confirmation page will be generated once the application form is submitted.
• Keep at least 4 copies of the confirmation page for future requirements.

Application Fee

The confirmation page will not be generated unless the candidate pays the necessary application fee. Application fees are different for various categories as given below.

Mode of payment: Applicants have to pay the mandatory application fee in online mode using any of the following methods.

• Debit Card
• Credit Card
• Net Banking
• UPI

AIAPGET 2022 Exam Pattern

To do well in the examination, the candidates should check the AIAPGET Exam Pattern 2022 given below very carefully.

• Mode of Examination: Online – LAN Based CBT (Computer-based Test)
• Type of Questions: Objective type multiple choice questions having a single correct answer.
• Number of questions: 400
• Duration of Exam: 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes)
• Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 4 marks
• Negative Marking: -1 marks for every incorrect answer
• Language of Question paper: Depends upon the courses as given below.
  • Ayurveda – English and Hindi
  • Siddha – English and Tamil
  • Unani – English and Urdu
  • Homeopathy – English only

Syllabus

The syllabus of AIPGET 2022 exam is the same as that of graduate-level courses in the field of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. CCIM/ CCH have issued the official syllabus of UG Courses in these fields.  Candidates are requested to visit the official website of CCIM or CCH India to check the detailed syllabus.

AIAPGET 2022 Admit Card

• The NTA will release admit cards for AIPGET exam on 1^st April 2022 through its official website.
• Please note that the candidates have to appear for the exam as per the date and time mentioned on the admit card.
• To download an admit card, the candidates need to visit the official website of NTA and provide their application number.
• Carefully check the details given on the admit card such as name, date of birth, etc. and contact the authorities immediately in case of a discrepancy.
• A candidate should carry the following documents at the time of appearing for the examination.
  • Printout of the downloaded copy of an admit card.
  • One passport size photograph similar to the one uploaded in the application form.
  • Any of the following ID proof in original – Pan Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License/ Aadhar Card/ Ration Card/ Aadhar Enrollment number.

Answer Key

• NTA will release answer keys of the AIAPGET within three days of the exam.
• Using answer keys, the candidates will be able to check their answers and get a rough idea about the marks they are going to score.
• Additionally, the NTA will also provide the opportunity to the candidates for challenging the answer keys. However, they have to pay Rs. 1000/- per question in order to challenge the answer keys.
• After considering all the challenges submitted, authorities will release the final answer keys.
• The result and merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of final answer keys.

AIAPGET 2022 Result

• The AIAPGET Result 2022 will be declared on the official website of NTA.
• NTA will upload the result of all the candidates on 10^th May 2020.
• Candidates will be able to check the result by entering their roll numbers.
• Applicants who will score more than the cutoff marks will get the opportunity to take part in the counselling process.

Merit List

• Apart from the result, authorities will also release the merit list of successful candidates.
• To clear AIAPGET 2022 exam, it is compulsory for a candidate to score at least 50^th
• In case of a tie, the aspirant with less number of incorrect answers will get a better merit position.
• Separate merit lists will be released for admission into various steams like Unani, Ayurveda, etc.

AIAPGET 2022 Counselling

• AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) will conduct and manage the counselling process for central quota seats after the declaration of AIAPGET Result 2022.
• For rest of the seats, the counselling will be conducted by different authorities of various states/ UT/ universities.
• During the counselling process, the candidates have to provide the choices of institutes in which they wish to pursue the course.
• Candidates also need to carry their original documents for verification at the time of counselling.
