Age Criteria: Candidates should be at least 17 years old as on or before 31st December 2023. The upper age limit is 30 years as on 31/12/2023. Candidates of SC/ST category are given relaxation in upper age by 5 years.

Qualifying exam: Candidates those have passed Senior   School   Certificate   Examination   conducted   by  CBSE/Council    of  the  Indian  School  Certificate  Examination (12-years course)  from a recognized school or an equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of four subjects including Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English (Core/Elective). Students should have passed each subject individually.

Ahilya Bai College of Nursing, Lok Nayak Hospital, Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg, New Delhi was established in July, 1993. B. Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course of University of Delhi offered by the college extends over a period of four academic years, 8 semesters including Internship.

Lok Nayak hospital (formerly known as Irwin Hospital), Gobind Ballabh Pant post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (GIPMER) and Guru Nanak Eye Centre with 2053, 735 & 212 beds respectively are the associated hospitals for imparting practical training to the students.
