AGRICET 2023: Eligibility Criteria, Application Form, Exam Date

AGRICET 2023 is going to be conducted by Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University tentatively in the month of July 2023 for candidates seeking admission to its B. Sc. (Ag.) Degree Programme.

Aspirants having Diploma in Agriculture and Seed technology are eligible to apply for the test. AGRICET application process for the academic session 2023-2023 is expecting to be commenced from May 2023.

AGRICET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who have obtained two years diploma in Agriculture/Seed Technology from ANGRAU / PJTSAU are eligible to apply. Those who are completing Diploma in 2023 can also apply.
  • Candidates’ age should be minimum 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. Upper age limit for general category candidates should be 22 years (25 years for SC/ST and 27 years for PH).

AGRICET 2023 Application Form: Procedure to Apply

Candidates, who are eligible as per the norms of admission authority they can download the application form from the University website i.e. www.angrau.ac.in. The form should be filled by candidates with only correct information and submitted before the stipulated deadline.

Application Fee

  • General category candidates: Rs.500/-
  • SC/ST/PH: Rs.250/-

The fee should be paid via demand draft in favour of Comptroller, ANGRAU, payable at Hyderabad.

Application form duly filled in all its aspects should be submitted along with 2 self-addressed envelopes affixed with Rs. 5/- postal stamp to the address mentioned below either in person or by post.

List of Certificates Need to be enclosed with Application Form

  • Date of Birth certificate
  • Diploma/course completion certificate
  • Caste certificate for SC/ST category applicants issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer.
  • Study or Residence or equivalent certificate as proof of local status (last 7 years)
  • Aadhar number
  • NCC, PH, Sports, and Defense etc. Certificates issued by the related authorities.

AGRICET 2023 Hall Ticket

The university will publish list of eligible candidates along with hall ticket numbers at its official website.

In case you haven’t received your hall ticket then you may download the same from the University website and appear in the test.

Qualifying Marks for AGRICET 2023

The minimum qualifying marks for AGRICET 2023 is 25% for unreserved category candidates. However, there is no minimum qualifying marks has specified for SC/ST category applicants.

Result

The university will release merit list on its official website. After the declaration of the merit list, candidates will be intimated about counselling through post or website. During preparation of the merit list if the tie occurs then following rules will be adopted by the authority for resolving the same:

  • AGRICET 2023 marks.
  • Aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
  • SSC overall grade point.
  • Date of birth that means older candidates will be given more preference over the younger ones.
