Admission to B.Tech Programmes offered at Amrita Schools of Engineering is done on the basis of entrance exam AEEE 2021. Candidates will be granted enrolment into different campuses of the university at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai and Coimbatore. The exam will be conducted in both online and offline mode. Candidates can submit their applications and appear for the entrance exam. Forms will be available in both modes as well.

AEEE 2021 Important Highlights
- Candidates can select only one mode of exam- either CBT or PPT. Those opting for PPT mode can appear for the exam only in selected centers in Tamil Nadu.
- 70% of the seat allotment will be through AEEE and 30% through JEE Main. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE/ JEE Main or both.
- Those applying through JEE Main need to upload their JEE Main score before the last date of registration for seat allotment.
- Request from the candidates for change of city allotted to them will not be entertained under any circumstances.
- In case a candidate appears in more than one slots of the exam or appears in both modes of exam, his/her candidature will be cancelled and result will not be declared.

AEEE Eligibility Criteria 2021
Check out the basic eligibility for appearing in AEEE 2021 exam:
- Age: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2000 are eligible to appear.
- Education: A pass in class 12th or equivalent with at least 60% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and not less than 55% in these subjects individually is required. Applicants appearing in the 12th exam in the year 2021 are eligible too.
AEEE 2021 Application Form
The application form for AEEE exam 2021 will be made available in both online and offline mode. Online application will be released on the official website www.amrita.edu. Offline forms can be obtained from the university campus.
Online application
- Candidates will be required to register themselves first providing basic details like name, email address, phone number, etc.
- Once registration is done successfully, the candidates can proceed with filling of application form.
- Personal, academic and other information related to the candidates will be asked in the application.
- Scanned copies of students’ photograph and signature should also be uploaded into the form.
- Duly filled application form can then be submitted online along with the prescribed application fee.
Offline application
- Candidates need to visit the university campus along with the demand draft of the prescribed amount.
- After purchasing the form, the candidates should fill it in their own handwriting in clear bold letters.
- The copy of the filled application form along with important documents should be send back to the university.
- Applications reaching after the last date will not be considered for further processing.
Application fee:
- The cost of application fee for AEEE will be Rs. 1000/-. Candidates seeking admission on the basis of JEE Main score need to pay an amount of Rs. 300/- as application cost.
- For online application, payment of the fee can be done using debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
- For online application, payment of the fee can be done through demand draft.

Slot Booking
- Registered candidates need to select date and time slot for appearing in online exam.
- Allotment of slot will be done on first come first serve basis and therefore candidates are suggested to book the slot as early as possible.
- To book the slot the candidates need to login to their account using their application number and date of birth.
- After logging in, the candidates can select the test date and test slots based on the availability.
AEEE 2021 Admit Card
- Admit card for AEEE 2021 will be made available on the official website of the university. An intimation about the same will be send through email/ SMS.
- Candidates should download their admit card and check the entries for any discrepancy.
- In case of any discrepancy, the candidates open a ticket in the online query management system for its correction.
- A printout of the admit card should be carried by the candidates while reporting to the exam center.
- Details of the exam center and schedule will be printed on the admit card itself.
AEEE Result 2021
- The result of the entrance exam will be declared online and candidates can check it from the official website.
- A merit list of the candidates will be drawn on the basis of their marks in the entrance exam.
- For the candidates applying on the basis of JEE Main, merit list will be prepared as per JEE Main score.
- Further process of seat allotment will begin as per the merit of the candidates and as per the schedule decided by the authorities.
AEEE 2021 Admission Process
- Once the candidates are successfully allotted seats, they need to visit the university to complete the admission process.
- Candidates should carry their important documents in original and photocopy while reporting to the university, for verification.
- After successful document verification, the candidates need to make payment of the tuition and other applicable fees.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in person in the campus for the admissions.

I want to make some corrections in the application form. Is it possible?
Candidates shall correct/modify some of the particular(s) of the application data, prior to the commencement of seat allotment. Request for change will not be accepted through fax, e-mail etc.
What if I fail to book slot for my exam?
If a candidate does not exercise option for slot, he/ she shall be assigned a slot as per the availability of the same.
Will admit card be made available through offline mode as well?
No. The admit card can online be downloaded from the official website of the university and will not be sent by post, courier, etc.
