About the institute
The Advanced Technical Training Centre (ATTC) is a self-governing polytechnic under the directorate of technical education, government of Sikkim. Founded in the year 1999, the institute is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education. The launch of Advanced Technical Training Centre (ATTC) is one of the foremost initiatives taken by the Government of Sikkim for the development of technical education in the state. The polytechnic was established under the World Bank assisted “Third Technician Education Project” of MHRD, Govt. of India and also a ISO 9001-2008 Certified Institute. The diploma curriculum offered by polytechnic is approved AICTE, New Delhi.

Admission Process
For admission to ATTC, East Sikkim, aspirants should fill in online application from available from the official website i.e. www.attc.skmpoly.edu.in or offline at ATTC Bardang. Admission will be offered on First Come First Serve basis to all institutional seats. Admission will be given to the following categories:
- Candidates who possess a valid Pass Certificates on the date of admission such as Class 12th Science passed, Class 12th Vocational passed, Class 10th passed and two years ITI passed after Class 10th
- Candidates who are appearing for Class 10th, 12th Science, two years ITI during the year 2018.
