Jammu Kashmir University starts admission to 2 year long Master degree In Business Administration (MBA) in Hospitality & Tourism in School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) for the academic year 2016-2018. The interested applicants can apply now for the MBA program by J& K University.

Minimum Eligibility to Apply For the Program

To apply for the MBA program, the applicant must have bachelors’ degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification with 50% marks in minimum, which offered by the Institute Of Chartered Accountants (or) A.M.l.E (Engineering) with a Minimum 50% marks aggregate for General Candidates and 40% marks aggregate for SC/ST candidates.

The Process to apply Jammu and Kashmir University MBA exam

• The candidates can download the MBA entrance exam form from the official website of J&K Univ. i.e. http://www.kashmiruniversity.net/
• Alongside of filling CAT/MAT exam, the candidates have to apply separately for MBA (HT) program of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.  To apply for the program, the applicant must take DD of Rs.800 in favor of Director, SHTM University of Jammu and Kashmir.

Overview about Selection procedure of Jammu Kashmir MBA Program

The admission of the MBA programs to Jammu and Kashmir University is on the basis of Common Entrance Examination (CAT) organized by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM). The shortlisted candidates will later be called for a Group discussion round and Personal Interview. Finalist names will be declared after that process.

Note: The University gives more priority to the candidates who cleared the CAT exam. In case the seats remain vacant after the CAT admission, then the rest of the seats also shared with the candidates who have comparatively high scores AIMA –MAT exam.
